Review Time
I placed an order on January 1. I received a package that was not what I had ordered on January 15, so I reached out to the company. On January 19 they replied, asking if I wanted a refund or a reshipment. I requested a reshipment. I heard nothing back. I sent the request again on February 3. Still no response from them. Finally I requested on February 23 to receive a refund. It is February 28, and I don't think I'm actually going to hear from them - either to receive the items I ordered or to be refunded my $60. I like some of their products, but I will never buy through their website again.
If you like Lion Brand yarn? DO NOT order it directly from them!! Use another vendor like Crochet.com, Love Crafts or Mary Maxim. I am STILL waiting for a kit I ordered at the end of January, and it’s almost March! One of the times I followed up, customer service email said “oh it’s on its way to you!” They did provide a tracking number, but when I checked the number it showed that the label was only *created*, NOT shipped! The kit finally left their facility a week later. PO says it’s due today but at 8pm it’s still not on the delivery truck and doesn’t even appear to be in my STATE yet. Never again will I order from them! Ughhh
Very poor ability to download the pattern. Was not told ahead of time it was a down load! The size of the words was not adjustable. For someone with poor visibility it is awful. Very poor of the co to not tell the buyers it is a download! I wouldn’t have bought it if it stated only for download.
I ordered and paid £45 for a crochet kit nearly a month ago, and still not shipped. I received an email 2 weeks ago informing there was a shipping delay, but no update since . I contacted asking for update or a refund- which they have refused. Terrible customer service.
Terrible Customer Service and Order DelaysI've bought from Lion Brand in the past and never experienced this low level of service. I placed a couple of different orders over 2 weeks ago (writing this on 2-8-25). The orders still show "unfulfilled" meaning they haven't even started pulling the orders together. I put in a ticket to cancel these orders as I'm moving and may not even be at this address if they ever decide to ship them. Customer service wasn't much help...she was nice but said she was the 'only one there' and clearly overwhelmed. She said I'd need to accept the order and return it at my expense. That won't happen, as again, I probably won't be here...they haven't even pulled my order. I won't be shopping at Lion again until they vastly improve their operations.
I placed an order in January for yarn and still have had no direct communication from the company as to any reason for the delay or what is going on. I went to the website and confirmed my order was still unfulfilled yesterday and called. After about 20 minutes on hold I finally spoke with someone that told me inclement weather is the reason they can't even be bothered to box up an order much less ship it. After speaking with them yesterday and being assured my order would be prepared and shipped out either yesterday or today I still see my order sitting unfulfilled and the date I placed my order has even been changed, however I have the correct date in email of when I placed the order. What kind of shady business is that and where is my order?
Exactly the same as everyone else. Really wish i had checked here first. I would never have ordered from them. I will take it up with my credit card company as this really looks like fraud. Has anyone actually got the yarn or their money back?
Poor customer service and delivery system by Lion Brand. After submitting an online order no ETA was provided one week later. Per customer service they had weather challenges in Georgia which I understood. After another week and no response I emailed the company to cancel the order. Still no response several days later followed by 2 vm. Finally was able to speak with a real representative who said the order was dispatched yesterday. The whole experience is disappointing. The company’s head office needs to investigate the challenges they have particularly staffing and tech systems otherwise customers will go elsewhere. I will not order from this company again. I will purchase in store.
