This happened today while I was wearing my live2live sweatshirt.I have seen the advertisements where people are stopped wearing them and something positive is said to them.To be honest it was a nice thought but I doubted it would actually happen. So firstly, my apologies !Today I was outside a shop in my village, it’s not a big place and it’s in East Sussex.A lady got out of her car and spoke to me.She said she had read the back of my sweatshirt whilst waiting in the traffic and had doubled back around the roundabout so she could speak to me. She said she had seen this once before and it was good to see it again. She told me that everyone has their own story and asked if she could give me a hug. Of course I said yes.I am shocked, but in a nice way , how the message on your tops etc can reach someone. And also sad that this lady has or knows someone, who knows what it’s like to be in that dark place.
I lost my brother to suicide this year and bought one of these hoodies for myself a few months ago. The delivery took a while and the quality was only okay, but I liked the message and believed the money was going to a good cause, so I recently ordered another one for my Mum.This time, though, something very concerning happened. An app was added to my order without my consent and a monthly subscription was set up from my bank account. I asked for it to be cancelled and refunded immediately, but my response was vague and to cancel within the app but the app doesn't appear to exist! And surely I would have received details of how to login etc...nothing! No offer of refund and i've head nothing further since my last email questioning details of where I can find this app to cancel. I have now lost complete trust in this company and have had to ask my bank to block any future payments. Please be careful. I am seriously questioning how genuine this company is. It is deeply upsetting to think they might be taking advantage of people who are grieving and trying to support a cause close to their hearts.
Customer service is the absolute worst. Don’t get talked into the add-on things that are free because in 10 days they charge a credit card for that free item. And they don’t refund it. Still have not received my order, placed three weeks ago and paid for express shipping and now I see it’s coming from China. None of that is listed at all.
After making an order I read the reviews I went into complete panic thinking I had been completely ripped off . I have just received my hoodie I did read the advice on sizing and ordered 2 sizes up and it fits my husband perfectly. The quality wasn’t 100% cotton but it was better than expected after reading the reviews a bit too much polyester for me but my husband didn’t find it a problem. Delivery was always updated on the tracking and the parcel arrived on time . I do think some of the reviews are a little harsh !
Awful got scammed into a subscription that’s almost impossible to cancel! Had to contact bank to stop any further payments and cancel card! And sweatshirts never arrived, calling themselves a hope campaign all AI responses no humans to speak to do not use this app ever!!!!
I have to write from my experiences. I bought the products for my son and daughter in-law and they informed me that the products are lovely. I then went ahead and ordered for myself and it has been alot of back and forth for almost two weeks now, and it only just clicked why. Be careful people, there is a copycat out there selling the live2live clothing; hence the reason you are getting fake cheap stuff. The original live2lives products are good and genuine but not the copycat. I just caught on to it, so I have contacted the original seller and awaiting a response. All the emails I received are not from the original live2lives email address as I had when I bought the first sets of products, but from a personal email address ending with gmail.com. I sent an email online via the live2lives website, querying about a product. The person who picked up the email responded from a shopify.com email address. I only just realised this going through the email threads. It has to be someone who is within to even picked up the initial email I sent and advised me on what to do and how to pay etc. Afterwards, I ended up communicating with scammers. I will get to the bottom of it. The original is “live2lives” with an *s*The copycat has live2live without the *s* Be careful, when you buy stuff off the fake website, they stored your card details and set up recurring monthly card payments for subscriptions for this “Hope Companion” app which they took £13.00 from my account for, and has it set up for subsequent payments.
