I bought a Jonesy sofa,armchair and 4 dining chairs last year and returned last Friday to order a Queenie armchair. The staff at Solihull are lovely and very helpful and I have got to know them. I am so pleased with the furniture I already have and looking forward to receiving the Queenie chair in April.
I’m so impressed with everything. My new sofas arrived. Delivery process was great. Both were slightly damaged by the packaging. However delivery guys and Loaf customer services were straight on it and replacements are being sent when they are ready. Everyone’s been lovely to deal with and the sofas - I love them!!! Hope the new arrivals are flawless 🩵
If I could give –5 stars, I would. From the moment I placed my order and requested a delivery date, I have been constantly misled. I finally got a delivery confirmation—only four days ahead of time—so I arranged for a removal service to take away my old furniture. The day before delivery, I was told that nothing had been booked properly and only a mattress could be delivered, while the sofa and bed are now delayed until January. This leaves me without a sofa and bed frame, which is completely unacceptable and has caused unnecessary expenses and disruption. Contacting the service by phone has been extremely difficult, calls go unanswered, and the information provided has been inconsistent and misleading. I expect urgent contact to resolve this issue and to receive a clear and accurate update.
I recently purchased a floor cushion and bolster set. While I loved the appearance of the items, I was disappointed to find that the product does not function as shown on the company's website. The images depict the bolster as a stable backrest, but it cannot stand upright without being propped against a wall. This misrepresentation is misleading. I raised this issue with the service but waited 12 days for a response, during which I had to store large boxes. By the time I received a reply, the items had significantly dropped in price. The response I received was dismissive and failed to address the misleading imagery. I have always associated this company with thoughtful design and excellent service, so this experience was very disappointing. I hope they rectify this situation and improve their representation and customer service.
I am extremely disappointed; we purchased a similar item at the end of 2022, and the fabric is deteriorating. I've been informed that it’s no longer under warranty and received information for a repair service, but as quickly as it gets fixed, new holes emerge! It’s not worth the high price! Other options we have are of much better quality.
I needed to call to place my order because I couldn't reset my account (despite trying to get an email multiple times, nothing came through, not even in my spam folder), and the representative I spoke with was wonderful. I also appreciate a phone system that informs you about your position in the queue.
The chair was delivered, but the covers arrived separately, making it difficult for us to put them on ourselves. I expected that a chair of this price would come with the correct covers already fitted. The numerous delays and complications with my order made this purchase quite unpleasant and have made me hesitant to buy again or recommend to others. Additionally, I spent 35 minutes on hold to reach customer service, which I find quite poor.
My experience has been chaotic from start to finish. Great service in-store, but due to a system change, our order was lost without notice until a week before delivery. After many issues with a loan sofa and the subsequent delivery of our expensive sofa—only to find it damaged—this has been a frustrating ordeal. We've had to wait weeks for repairs, yet the issues persisted. After a lengthy wait for a new sofa, it has finally arrived and seems to be okay. The delivery teams have been great, but my experience has been exhausting and filled with unfulfilled promises. I doubt I would use this service again due to the administrative hassle involved.
