Review Time
I got tickets from Dallas to Nashville round-trip for two adults, one carry-on and one checked bag for $276 total. I was also told the next day that i could add another adult with a checked bag for $166. To expound, I used Scanner Flight to search for low fares. Lowfarebuddy happened to be the lowest one. I was sent to their website where I entered the information to purchase the tickets. It was somewhat different in that the purchase didn't go through immediately. Instead, one of their employees, John, called me to go over my purchase and finalize the details. He was very patient and a great help.
They are a scam. Don’t believe anything anyone else is saying. Hazel supposedly sent my boarding pass when I didn’t receive any. She said it was for LA to Sacramento when my destination was not LA. I didn’t receive any boarding pass to my destination and so she decided to threaten me and blacklist me. It was horrible service and I never wanted to book with them again. So save your time and money and don’t even trust them.
I’d give this no stars if I could. We had booked a trip to Las Vegas and we got an email of our flight on the way back, but never on the way there and when we tried contacting “Hazel” she had blocked our number so we felt kind of stranded and had to book a flight elsewhere for our flight. Hazel’s customer service was HORRIBLE she threatened to blacklist us because she was upset that her job was at risk by not complying to follow her instructions on where to go to get a refund at but it should automatically be sent right back to your card. Hazel also told us the wrong information when leaving a voicemail because she told us over the phone that we booked for LA but in reality we actually booked for Las Vegas and also threatened that we wouldn’t be getting a refund at all. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM HAZEL!!!
This is a scam operation. They charge your card and give you an itinerary for a real flight with a made up confirmation number. No flight is ever booked. When it gets close to the day of travel, they tell you the flight was cancelled and offer to put you on a different flight for more fees to continue the charade. If you call the phone number, you’re put on hold with a repeating message about waiting for an agent - to whom you’ll never reach. It’s a scam. Not a “shady operation”. A scam, pure and simple. TrustPilot needs to review this operation. The fake reviews mentioning “Hazel” and others are how LowFareBuddy.com keeps up the charade.
Hazel Williams is a wonderful agent. Working with her was a pleasure. She made booking our vacation a pleasant experience. She was patient, making sure I understood everything and addressed the issues traveling with my handicap impose. I look forward to continuing to work with her while making car rental reservations.
