I am extremely disappointed with my experience booking flights. At first, I was happy to find what seemed like a good deal and received confirmation that my flight was confirmed. However, shortly after, I began receiving phone calls from a number that appeared to be a scam. When I finally answered, it turned out to be one of your agents telling me that my tickets were actually “standby” and that I might not even get a seat unless I “updated” the ticket by paying an additional $1,300 USD. This has left me frustrated, misled, and very dissatisfied with the service. I locked my card so hopefully they will not get my money.
I wouldn’t even give them 1 star. I purchased my ticket back in August for a trip in September. They charged my card the same day. They sent me a link with a confirmation code the morning of my flight. I checked in, added my boarding pass to my wallet, and when I get to the airport and spoke to someone from Jetblue, they told me my flights was cancelled, refunded and reported as fraud. I paid $382, the refund amount was for $357 and it was going to someone named Peter with a card ending in 4 digits that weren’t mine. She also told me tickets were purchased just a few hours prior and that they were purchased using travel points. If you realize, all the good reviews that are left here all mention “great customer service” and they add a random Hispanic name. They’re all Indian, and all scammers. I already started the refund process with my bank because they refuse to answer your calls or emails since they already know who you are before they even pick up. 100000000% scam. Not sure why this site is even still up. You’re better off booking directly through the airline website. I only would’ve “saved” less than $100 anyway. Don’t book through this site.
SCAM ALERT – Avoid LowFareBuddy.comI booked through lowfarebuddy.com and quickly realized it’s a scam. After paying, you don’t get tickets right away. Instead, they send a confirmation email letting you know they may request a photo of your government ID or debit card “to verify possession” huge red flag. They claim you’ll get confirmation within six hours, but nothing came.When I called customer service, there was no automated system or proof that it’s a real business. The next day, I tried to cancel, but they refused, saying my “promotional price” had expired, and demanded $1,000 more, which was later he “discounted” to $650, which I did not pay! I called the airline directly and learned I wasn’t booked on any flights at all despite LowFareBuddy claiming I was partially confirmed for my return flight—another lie.I recorded my entire conversation with the agent and supervisor (who hung up on me when I wouldn't pay) and will be reporting them to the BBB, government agencies, and news outlets.Tip: Always record your calls with their agents — you’ll need proof of their deceptive practices.DO NOT use this site. 100% a SCAM.
I booked a ticket, I had to give my credit card number to book my flights, however when I didn’t see the confirmation email I called low fare buddy they told me that I have to pay a higher price, I said I want to cancel my ticket and they said I can’t since they already processed my credit card payment, I paid the extra amount, and when I got to the airport they changed my flights to a later time. It was really very frustrating and stressful
AWFUL! SCAM! I booked a flight and no more that five minutes later my phone rings with someone saying I couldn’t have the flight I just booked. When I said cancel and refund, he became very rude telling me he couldn’t cancel. I told him it was more than 24 hours from the flight and if I couldn’t have the flights that were booked and confirmed then I needed it refunded and canceled. He became increasingly rude, interrupting everything I was saying, and told me I should’ve just booked on the airline main page. After I told him that wasn’t his business, I booked through his site and now it scan me that they five minutes later to tell me I can’t have the flight I wanted, they need to just refund my money. He ended up arguing with me, finally telling me he would cancel and refund and hung up on me. When I called back, he answered the phone, so maybe it’s just a one-man show, and was rude again. I would rather walk cross country than ever book on this site again
