Update on my exchange. They sent them out promptly but what the heck? Another boot that has a cut in the leather. I mean Dadgum this is pretty sad. Instead of an exchange I’m debating on just a full refund. Where is the quality controll?!!!Updated: I worked with a customer service person who has bent over backwards to help me out and get the color I wanted. Seems since my express of images and color they will be I dating the website to show a more accurate color. I do understand things are hand stained but the extreme variance in the darkness from what I received was huge.Exchanged the boots for a different make. Fingers crossed these are the ones. As of right now 2 stars. Received my Luke boots with a staple in the side of them and they were also to light of color compared to the website picture. They are supposed to rectify my issue and if they do I will update. Never paid this much for a pair of boots. Couldn’t believe a company of this caliper let a boot out like the one I received.
The boots are fantastic. I thought this was a review of the website, which I give a 2. 2 just because I love all of my Lucchese boots. First time I bought online. I spent a lengthy amount of time with employees on chat to figure out boot color (two different answers of color), fit, and availability. In the end there was not much on their website available in my size and the color I wanted. I am happy with the boot I got but I would not buy online again. You need to try on boots in person.
I purchased a pair of men’s black caiman boots from Kemosabe in Aspen. The heal squeaked so they sent the boots back to Lucchese for repair over 7 weeks ago. I’m being told it could still be another 3 weeks before I get the boots back. I don’t think I will purchase this brand again. Awful customer experience.
Boots were gorgeous! Unfortunately they were way to big and they don’t make the size I need in the Curtis line which is not their fault. However a promo code was not applied to my purchase and the refund process is painfully slow. They definitely seem to know they have a great product and expect that customers will sacrifice a top notch customer experience to deal with the high end brand.
