Non existent customer service

I've been trying for days to get hold of anyone at all from Masion Cashmere's customer service department. They never answer the phone or respond to emails. Definitely won't be ordering from them ever again.

Quality & Service conscious company.

I had international delivery address changes ay Christmas time. The customer service was fast, friendly and flexible. I only buy my cashmere with Maison Cashmere. I wish they would offer 4-5 thread thickness twin sets and other classic items. I recommend MC.

I cannot believe the quality of the maxi wrap compared to the same I purchased in 2023. I decided to re purchase as my mum lived mine so I gave it to her. How disappointing that not only had the price increased by over £40 the quality was half the previous wrap. So thin and weightless. Will be returning.

Stay away from this company

I bought a Cashmere Jumper from MaisonCashmere and it formed several holes in it after nine months wear.I asked for a refund, exchange, credit note or repair and they refused to do anything. Stay away from this company, it supplies poor quality, not fit for purpose clothing, its main aim is profit. It employes managers who have no authority and no integrity.

Beware - they pay for good reviews

I bought a long cardigan last September and when I got it (took 4 weeks), it didn't fit. I asked to exchange it because I thought it would show good will instead of just returning it, but turns out that once you do that, you will never see your money again. They only told me that the exchange would be done via a store credit, but not that a store credit can never be refunded. I never asked for a store credit, but they insisted I should have read their terms and conditions, which I did several times, but it’s really not very clear. It took 6 weeks to get the exchange: over 4 weeks for them to actually process the return, despite it being via Fedex to a local address in the UK, and 2 weeks to get the new item. Unfortunately, the robe I got in its place didn't fit either (rather misshapen), so I wanted a refund, which they flat out refused due to their terms and conditions, as detailed above.I was so angry with them I had to wait several months to cool down, and then was effectively forced to spend the £200 of store credit for things I didn't want. The quality is average at best - I own a lot of cashmere, so I can compare. One jumper I got as replacement bobbled on the first wear, and became completely stretched and misshaped despite being careful with it. I am far less careful with other cashmere I own and never had this problem. Finally, please note they give people discounts in exchange for reviews (150 points per review = £1.50 discount on future purchases). I can’t imagine that someone who wants a discount will give a bad review, so it certainly makes me doubt the validity of the reviews on their site.I will NEVER buy from them again, and I urge anyone to avoid like the plague. PS: They claim in their reply to this review that they don’t pay for reviews. Here is the text of their email which I got today (28th of May):“Hello XXXX,Your opinion is precious to us.To share your experience, simply sign in and follow the instructions you find in your Account dashboard. Each review you write is worth an extra 150 reward points (£ 1,50) to use on future purchases. For more information, don't hesitate to contact our customer service.Customer ServiceMaisonCashmere”

The black sweater I ordered was a great fit and cut. However, after wearing it just twice the central part deteriorated with piling that made it look old and tattered. I emailed my complaint to be told that this was normal. I have worn cashmere for forty years and this is not normal for a brand new sweater - the wool is an inferior mix and it shows. I can’t wear it in a professional environment like at work. Sadly I won’t be ordering from them again.

Poor Quality Product and Unfair Refund Denial

Updated 25 March 2025:Thank you for your reply. I respectfully stand by my review. To clarify:I had the cardigan for six days total and wore it for around 18 hours before discovering a hole in the pocket.I do not have pets, and any claim that hairs were found is not only incorrect, but misleading.I’ve owned over 30 cashmere garments and have never seen this level of wear in such a short time.Your return process was slow, unresponsive, and ultimately dismissive — especially when your own timeline (from Feb 27 to Mar 20) speaks for itself. This isn’t a matter of "satisfaction" — it’s about a defective product, which should have qualified for a refund under standard consumer protection laws.Buyers deserve transparency, not excuses.21 March 2025I purchased a cashmere cardigan from MaisonCashmere and received it in early February. After wearing it for only three days (approximately 18 hours total), it developed a hole in the pocket. I immediately reported the issue, provided photos, and returned the item within six days of receiving it.Despite my careful handling, the company refused to issue a refund, claiming the item showed signs of "significant wear" and even alleged it had pet hair on it—something that is categorically false as I do not have pets. Their logic was contradictory and dismissive, insisting that minimal wear caused damage that clearly points to a manufacturing flaw.I own over 30 pieces of cashmere and have never had a garment deteriorate this quickly. A colleague who purchased the same item experienced pilling on the first day as well, though no hole—further confirming a quality issue. To make matters worse, it took nearly a month (Feb 27–Mar 20) and repeated emails before they finally completed the return inspection, only to reject my claim with vague reasoning.MaisonCashmere’s customer service was polite but unhelpful, and their return process does not protect the customer when the item is defective. I’ve filed a formal dispute with my credit card company and urge potential buyers to be cautious—this brand does not stand behind its products.

Very poor quality, poor customer service

Very poor quality. Sold as luxurious product with prices to match. Jumper developed a hole after 5 wears. Reported, but poor customer serviced offered to quote for repair if I returned it.Disappointing as it was a gift. Will definitely avoid in future. You are paying luxury prices, but receiving a ‘Primark’ quality.PS in reply to the reaction. The garment was gifted at a later date to purchase date (18 months before) and worn 5 times. The offer was to send the garment back for an estimate of the repair (I felt a return at my cost and free repair fair). Prior to my wife notifying me about the quality issue. I bought an another item 2 months ago. The quality was equally poor. The PR reply doesn't reflect accurately the situation. If you don't believe me, there is adequate other reviews of the inferior products. In addition, negative review are filtered out on their own website.Ultimately, the purchaser will make their own decision, but I hope that they don't feel that they wasted £400 on gifts that were ultimately a cause of embarrassment as I did.

HORRIBLE. BUYER BEWARE.

Horrible quality cashmere and even worse fit. I received a sweater as a VERY GENEROUS gift and they refused to exchange the item even though I still had it in the original gift box with tags. Really unfortunate that someone could spent $200+ on a gift and have no options to exchange. Reached out to the company and their response was less than helpful.
