If you don't want to have problems, don't trust this company, because in addition to being disorganized, they lie and are unable to transport anything and ask for full payment in advance so if anything happens they wash their hands of it. I'll start by saying that for personal reasons, I repeatedly asked if they could guarantee pickup in Catania on the same day indicated by Mondoconvenienza, which was about a month after the purchase of the goods. First they said yes... then it took me days to get the same answer again. As soon as I picked up the goods, I asked when they would deliver them to my home because I had to coordinate with the lifter and the fitter... another ordeal! They didn't know when... every answer was different. First someone told me Saturday morning, then Monday, then Tuesday... so on for days until they answered, "We're not interested in your plans. You have to respect our schedule." That is, I entrusted the transport with the guarantee that they would respect my schedule. Having ordered a bedroom and a bathroom and expecting people from out of town, I couldn't have the house without a bathroom and a bedroom... in the end, it was delivered 4 days after collection. The boxes are broken, some packages are torn, and all had suffered more than one blow. All the shelves in the bedroom are broken, and even two drawers are split in half right where the box was damaged... I felt like crying. I have a new bedroom I bought in Italy, all smashed, and even if Mondo Convenienza accepts a replacement, you'll pay hundreds of euros to send someone to pick them up in Italy and bring them back here. They're animals and incompetent.
se non volete avere problemi non affidatevi a questa azienda ,perché oltre ad essere disorganizzati,mentono e non sono in grado di trasportare nulla e chiedono tutto il pagamento in anticipo quindi se succede qualcosa poi se ne lavano le mani.
comincio con il dire che per motivi personali ho chiesto ripetutamente,se potessero garantire il ritiro a catania lo stesso giorno indicato da mondo convenienza ( io vivo a Malta)che era circa un mese dell'acquisto della merce..prima mi hanno detto di si...poi ho impiegato giorni per riottenere la stessa risposta..
appena ritirata la merce ho chiesto quando sarebbe stata consegnata a casa perche dovevo coordinarmi con il lifter e il montatore..altra odissea non sapevano quando..ogni risposta era diversa prima qualcuno mi disse sabato mattina poi lunedi ,poi martedi ...cosi per giorni finche non mi hanno risposto non ci interessano i tuoi programmi devi rispettare il nostro calendario...
cioè io ho affidato il trasporto con la garanzia che loro avrebbero rispettato le mie tempistiche avendo ordinato una camera e un bagno e aspettando persone da fuori non potevo avere la casa senza bagno e senza camera...alla fine viene consegnata dopo 4 giorni dal ritiro.
le scatole sono rotte alcuni pacchi strappati tutte avevano subito più di una botta..
tutte le mensole della camera sono rotte e anche due cassetti spaccati a metà proprio dove la scatola era danneggiata...mi veniva da piangere
ho una camera nuova comprata in italia tutta spaccata e anche se mondo convenienza mi accetta la sostituzione pagherei centinaia di euro per mandare qualcuno a prenderle in italia e riportarle qui.

Really complicated payment system and after I placed my order it should take 2,5 weeks for it to come but they called me twice to said they wouldn’t come on that day and it got delayed 2 weeks. So 1 month it took for it to arrive.
Totally disappointed. Placed an order end of November 2025 for Qty 3 sheets of wood (2.44m x 1.22m) as per listing. Delivery was expected for the 3rd week of December. Order got delayed. There was some bad weather that might have affected the delivery and thus I was patient. Waiting for festive season to be over and chased for some answers. I got all excuses that you could imagine, including the weather and also blaming the supplier in Sicily. Last week, beginning of February, I got a mail for clarification from Maltashopper asking me what have I ordered, since the supplier in Sicily sent only 3 pieces of wood @ 1m2 each! This is ridiculous. At the stage I just told Maltashopper that if they're unable to deliver what they promise to, they should cancel my order and refund me, which eventually they did. Waited for 2 months+ and ended up in a refund. I wouldn't recommend Maltashopper, there are other reliable alternates for sure.
Even i paid for delivery service, they didn't bring the order as saying that the house is on a pedestrian street and on steps. I actually explained where the house is situated when giving the order. Since they refused to do the delivery, i cancelled the order. Refund was done immediately.
