Extremely disappointed with my experience. I ordered an Ikea Besta door from Malta Shopper which arrived damaged due to incredibly poor packaging—just two very thin layers of small bubble wrap for an international delivery. Considering I paid €90 for shipping, I expected far more care to be taken in protecting the item.When I contacted customer service, they showed no interest in resolving the issue and simply told me that because I didn’t purchase insurance, it’s my responsibility. Frankly, this feels like a way to deflect accountability for inadequate packaging. Insurance shouldn’t be a fallback for poor shipping standards.I wouldn’t recommend ordering anything from this company unless you’re willing to take the risk and deal with unhelpful support if something goes wrong.
We looked high and low to try and find some lampshades that we had purchased in IKEA 20 years ago and found some on Malta shopper as it turned out they had to import it from Sicily but it arrived in Australia and we couldn’t be happier
