Review Time
First of all i ordered 9 of the 2L oak aging barrels on the agreement it would be shipped to my location on or by the 24th december. as i ordered, a 15%off my first order popped up stating if i gave them my email address and expect text msg on product it would be discounted, They gave me a discount code and after ordering i called and said the discount didnt go through and i was told Maybe becuz it was on sale MAYBE. She didnt understand why. I got email saying it was shipped out and going to be delivered on the 24th.. nervous i called on the 23 and 24 they said a tracking number will be sent. 2 calls on the 24th and no tracking number they said it hadnt been scanned in by ups, by the end of the 24th still no tracking but was told if it didnt come on the 24 it would there on the 25th REALLY no deliveries would be made by ups on xmas day first of all and with no tracking how was this going to happen. Now it the 26th and i called to let them know im really upset after purchasing this just because of delivery date and now i have to deal with all the deception and run around tatics and lies. It's just so dishonest. He said they have a tracking number now as i called it up UPS informs me they do not have possession of the order yet. How does this happen after being told everything i had heard from them now they say they will refund me those barrels. they were never done what bait and switch type of scam is this. I guess i will have to call credit card company now to make sure it goes through I DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY HOPEFULLY YOU DO NOT EITHER!!as of 1/5/25i need to admit that even though my barrels did not arrive on time or as scheduled, when i contacted them i was credited for my charge and the barrels were finally received. i told them they could be returned but they gave them to me so now the cost to me is the shipping of where they have to go. i wanted this review to be fair after being let down originally but they corrected what they could.
I only made a purchase because I wanted to give a gift that comes in a crate. I checked the FAQ before purchasing to make sure it comes in a crate, and the FAQ was extremely deceptive: in the preview of the response, they leave out the key word "not", so I only read "everything we offer comes in crates." Of course, returns are not allowed, which is a red flag indicating the low level of confidence this company has in their own products. This was a total waste of $80 for some kitschy home decor that I don't want and only bought for a crate that I never got. Lesson learned: this is the last time I buy a novelty gift advertised on social media!
Never received an email that my gift shipped or was delivered. I sent an email that they never responded to. I messaged on FB and finally received an answer 2 days later. Not very professional. My first and last time ordering from them.
I purchased the personalized Golf Ball mini crate on the 17th on December directly from their site. I never received a tracking number or an email to confirm my purchase. I paid via PayPal which is connected to my bank. Ironically, 6 days later my personal information was leaked, and my bank accounts were drained, and my credit card was maxed out. I have never purchased through them before. The seller mentioned on PayPal was Coastal Cocktails Inc. dba Man Crates and I believe it was a scammer. So please be very cautious
This order is a gift for Christmas so I will only be reviewing my experience ordering and receiving. My only real issue is the shipping cost but you have to consider the cost by weight and convenience. My order came in a day earlier than projected. I ordered the camo jerky gift set and a jerky gram with assorted exotic jerky. The camo set came in a nice triangular box and the ornaments inside are pretty nice. They open and contain small jerky bites. Overall very nice and reusable. The jerky gram came in a box that opens to contain the exotic jerky wrapped in a fun butcher paper-esque style and is sealed with a round sticker. I look forward to seeing how the jerky is.
Ordered the taco making crate as a Christmas gift. Had them gift wrap it. It arrived and the odor was overwhelming. I opened the package and found the taco sauce bottles had broken and had soaked the wooden crate and interior box and items. Everything inside was soaked; it was all covered. Called Mancrates and they said they would send a replacement and they did not want this one back. I told them it was all unusable and sent pictures. I had to throw it away, the entire thing. The new one arrived and all they sent was the sauces, they did not replace the kit as promised. The other crate was ruined, soaked in sauce and all the other items were also covered. I paid extra for the wrapping. Then all they send is 2 bottles of sauce. The crate, all the other items, the wrapping; I'm just out for. No refund, nothing. This is the second year in a row we had issues and this one is ridiculous. Beware, do not use this company.
I made a purchase and realized quickly that I needed to cancel it. I contacted Man Crates customer service department and gave my order # and requested to cancel my order and I got an immediate response and refund. Sid A. handled the situation quickly and was very friendly. I will definitely be making purchases through this company in the future for that reason. Thank you for helping me and taking care of everything quickly and with good customer service.
Don't order from this company! I made a mistake on my order which was placed after business hours. I immediately sent a email to their order contact listed on their website. I didn't hear back during the day about it so I called them. The support representative I talked to said sorry, nothing we can do about it now because you waited all day. I said, "I didn't wait, I sent you a email literally 5 minutes after placing my order." She replied "Ya, we're like super busy and having a hard time keeping up with emails, chats and phone calls." I said, "Respectfully, not my problem that you're understaffed or whatever the issue is." She replied simply, "Apologize, nothing we can do." What a horrible company. I'll simply deny shipment so they can eat the cost both ways and have the credit card company return my money. So stupid!
