My experience with Mazuma Mobile in February 2026 was very disappointing. I was quoted £495 for my iPhone 16 Pro, but after they received it they claimed there were scratches (there weren’t) and reduced the offer to £400.

I declined and asked for my phone to be returned, but instead they kept slightly increasing the offer (£410, then £420) rather than returning the device as requested. It took three refusals before they finally agreed to send my phone back.

I also paid over £10 to send the phone to them with proper insurance, yet they only insured the return package for £150 unless I paid extra to increase the cover. Considering the value of the phone, that felt completely inadequate.
I suggest you do something I didn’t, which is read the reviews on Google, which in my opinion give a much better view of what to expect from Mazuma.
This was my personal experience and I still have the emails confirming the quote and revised offers. Based on this experience, I would advise others to think carefully before sending a device in.

A really disappointing experience.
I used Mazuma for ease of selling my iPhone 1 rather than selling privately. Once received, they massively down valued the originally agreed price. After increasing their offer twice, they posted the phone back to me but without the box, charger, manual - everything that I had posted it to them in which has now devalued my phone for a private sale.

Would not use them again, would not recommend.

Sent my iPhone 13 in. Offered less due to chips on metal band. Offered to return the phone or I could accept a lower offer. Requested it to be returned. Phone arrived without the original box that it was sent in.

I recently sold my iPad Pro 12.9” to Mazuma, and for starters they offered the highest price compared to other services, and they honored the initial quote without any hassles. The process was smooth and quick—after sending in my iPad, I received payment via bank transfer in less than 48 hours. The customer service as always, was excellent, always responsive and helpful, which made the entire transaction stress-free. I highly recommend Mazuma if you’re looking to sell your device and get paid fast with no surprises.

I’ve had so much trouble with poorly performing mobile recycling companies - UR and We Buy Tek - and it was refreshing that Mazuma received my phone and paid me straight away. No offers, no making up nonsensical faults with the phone. Would recommend. The other companies need to be more transparent with their initial offers.

Can only be described as robbing, cheating scum. They no longer honour the quoted price, suddenly find "non existing faults" and then return the wrong items. Dodgy thieving staff, avoid!!

Was quoted £215 for my iPhone 13 Pro, it was in very good condition.
Spent £10 to send it off and received a revised offer of £90.
What they should do is get you to upload a video of the phone obviously as forensically as they do then they can lowball your price there and then!
Absolutely disgusting service would not go anywhere near this company.

They downgraded by device quality to faulty despite the phone being in excellent condition and tried to say the screen has pressure marks so the screen needed to be replaced! The irony is I had paid privately to have the screen fully replaced directly before sending to Mazuma so I know 100% it was in great condition. Money grabbing where they can and hoping people take the offer if they really need the money. There is no way a brand new screen could have pressure marks on it. Would NEVER use again. Probably the worst company I've ever dealt with

I tried to sell an iPhone to Mazuma after upgrading to a newer model. I was pleased with the initial offer of £125 as it would have saved me the bother of selling the phone on eBay. The phone was in MINT condition but when I sent it to them I got a message back saying:
"Apple iPhone 12 64GB Unlocked - Screen has deep scratches/chips that can be felt.
Apple iPhone 12 64GB Unlocked - Housing has more than 5 light scratches or is chipped".

All of this was ABSOLUTELY FALSE.

I rejected the offer and asked for the phone to be returned. Then they responded with:
"I noticed that you had recently rejected our revised offer of £35.00 for your device.

Good news, we have reassessed your device and taking into consideration the condition we can offer £45.00 for your device.

We hope an increased offer is sufficient to keep you as our customer and your recycling order open. If so please simply respond with 'Accept' to this message and we’ll process your revised payment.

If not then please respond 'Reject' and we will ensure that your order is back with you as soon as possible".

I rejected this offer and now have the phone back in my possession.

The impression I get, as a potential seller, is that they are trying to low-ball people with revised offers in order to buy good quality phones on the cheap. I would never use them again. I would avoid them
