this wasnt bad company at first but i had message saying there was unusual log in from india which i thought was a scam to be honest. had my email account for 18 years and find i cant get into it despite efforts. got new telephone number etc to put on acc. tried getting new password too. im old and dont want to spend all day trying to prove who i am. How do crooks hack accounts?

Another Microsoft misuse of power

No surpriseMicrosoft is outfacing windows 10, which is perfectly OK, but of cause the last updates to the old system is primarily concerned with disabling it.Since my last update, every time I move the cursor I use up 2 GB of space for no reason.This of cause should not surprise me. This is how Microsoft has always worked. I was just slow to disable updates to a product being outfaced.How do I know that this is because of the latest updates?Have I gone through all the latest code or do I have special insight to the inner workings of Microsoft?No, I do not.What I do have is experience. I’m 60 years old, and have used Microsoft since windows 3.16.This is not the first time this has happened, nor is it the 2nd time, or the 8th time. This is just how Microsoft work, and always have.The reason they can get away with it is of cause, by buying their way out of monopoly issues (Trust laws), buying a president if needed (Trumps first term).So now that windows 10 is coming to a close, I was anyway forced to change my systems.In fact I was pretty much prepared to make the easy choice, for convenience sake, and continue with Microsoft.Now however I WILL do the footwork, and find an alternative, and I suggest everyone else to do the same.

Non existent support

Absolute garbage non existent customer support.MS account hacked despite having 2FA enabled.Reported to MS as it was happening yet 6 weeks on still no reply.Also had to Junp through hoops to try and find a support live chat.I’ve lost 20years of Xbox live digital games in excess of 20k, can’t log into my pc so had to create a new account.I will not be buying or supporting MS ever again. How do they let crooks and thieves get away with it!Angry and disappointed

Been locked out of my email and also my…

Been locked out of my outlook email and also my recovery email yet again, I can’t get the recovery code from either account because I’m locked out of both! They definitely outsource their help services to a third world country because who ever is helping me is ignoring what I am saying, speaking in circles and isn’t understanding the problem. They clearly do not speak English.

If I could, I would give zero stars.Its time governments forced them to break up their monopoly as their products are good but support is pathetic to nonexistent.We NEED a decent alternative.

Buying minecraft just to get scammed

I buy minecraft from microsoft and you say i cant play multiplayer becus i have settings? When i find the settings you wont let me change them becus i am under aged? Even my father cant do it. Microsoft is just a big scam.

Awful customer service

Awful customer service. Tried to sort a billing issue and spent ages on hold, then got disconnected. Website's a nightmare to navigate too. Avoid if possible.

Shame can't give zero stars

Was incorrectly charged and had refund refused. Hung up on by two telephone agents, was told it was escalated and spoke later to someone who said it hadn't been. Just truly terribly run. Any other company would not get away with it.

One star is even too many

One star is even too many. A service representative had me delete my second account. He said he "did not understand why there were more than one". Now I realize that I am logged into my laptop with this account and I can't get any upgrades. Another problem is that my main account now gives errors and when I want to sign into microsoft it doesn't let me because it says that the account does not exist. Mind you: this is my main account, not the one that was deleted by the service agent! It is a disgrace how incredibly bad microsoft is! Onedrive is a disaster, took me a whole month and still it does not work. Using a ssl hard disk was 5 minutes work and nothing is missing! NEVER go here!
