Out for your money that is all! For an app that is based to 'support mental health' it is absolutely shocking that they allow for money to be taken from you account without your permission! Advertisment for a one month membership that seamingly is one off payment of £11.99 but then a further £24.99 was taken from my account a few weeks after this. I did not enjoy the app but would have kept this opinion to myself until this happened. I have emailed twice about this and apprently they are unable to refund me!!! Real Real shame as adds stress and anxiety to bills and this should be the last thing an account like this should allow for their customers!!!!
Incredble this organisation still trading - a total con and whatever you do, do not sign up for this. The app itself is weak but the main issue is their approach to just take money of folk. Have had just the same experience as everyone else on here, tried the app at a reasonable price and had money blatantly removed from my bank account with no warning.
Similar to some of the other experiences, if you sign up via the website they are enrolling you into a subscription without making this at all clear or transparently. I had purchased some PDF’s and then downloaded the app. I have no emails confirming a subscription, and communication of a subscription price, nothing in the app itself indicates I was on a subscription. I purchased some of the materials in December, when feeling low around the holiday season and was directed to the website via social media adverting. I personally found the app pointless so haven’t used it. I completely missed that they had charged my credit card in March, but have just noticed a further payment in June. I emailed to requested a refund (bearing in mind I’m not using the pointless app) and within minutes received a boilerplate response explained the subscription is cancelled but they do not refund… so they are clearly very well aware of what they are doing and taking advantage of those with poor mental health. Waiting on them to provide evidence that this is something I did actually agree to - the boilerplate response is “it was in our terms and conditions” which again, I do not recall seeing any indication of a subscription or renewal price communicated. The said terms and conditions they have provided today saying I agreed to are updated as at 12 May 2025, but I purchased the PDF’s in December 2024. The most recent email from them also suggested that I should have had a renewal email but suggesting it went to junk - the payment was 4 days ago and there is nothing there. Waiting to see if they can actually provide concrete evidence (I.e. evidence of agreement, date stamped emails), because at this stage I feel like their approach is “gaslight the person into giving up”
Downloaded the app 2 months ago and bought a subscription for a month for €13,99. I didn’t like the app so I cancelled it right away and deleted the app. Now, 2 months later, I see a deduction of €28,55 on my bank account from Mindway. I look further into it and see it was deducted a month ago as well. I can’t find my subscription anywhere, tried to contact them through email (only way), but immediately get the notification ‘this email is not in use’. I’m probably never gonna get that €71 back and the worst thing is, I couldn’t even cancel the automatic payment anywhere. I had to contact my bank to cancel this nasty scam. DON’T DO THIS!!
Scammed into a subscription, thinking I only authorised a one time payment. Managed to cancel via emails, but not happy at all. Lost $50 for literally nothing. The app didn’t provide anything you wouldn’t find online for free. Pathetic scam
