Review Time
I was torn between the U-Boat 8075 wrist watch, which has been discontinued by the manufacturer, and the U-Boat 8061 which I believe is still in production. I had seen the 8075 in person and thought it quite beautiful, but never having seen the 8061, I wasn't sure if I would like the titanium case. I went with the safe choice and ordered the 8075. Unfortunately Christhard was unable to procure the watch and offered either an immediate refund or to procure another watch of my choosing. I decided to take a chance on the 8061. Christhard responded within a day or so letting me know he could procure the watch and I paid the balance of the invoice. Shortly thereafter I received notice that the watch had shipped along with tracking information and within a week had the watch in hand, shipped from Germany to the US, with the box, all of the paperwork, and international manufacturer's warranty. I am happy to say that having seen both I would have picked the 8061 hands down, it is absolutely stunning. Christhard was extremely helpful throughout the process, very responsive to questions and kept me informed throughout the entire purchase. He did an excellent job filling out the paperwork for fast and easy clearing through US Customs by DHL. I am looking to purchase my next watch through Montredo.
