Ordered a watch from a microbrand, only 50 made. I would have gone through their website but it was having issues so I went through Montredo. After 5 days I started emailing about my order since I had not received any information about the order. I mean they took the money just never sent a confirmation email or anything about my order. I sent 4 emails as the phone number is in another country, with no response. After reading that others have had the same issues from reviews on Trustpilot. I started the dispute process with my card company. I was able to purchase the watch finally from the manufacturer and didn't miss out on it because of Montredo, so that is the only plus. You would think by now with all the negative reviews and charge backs, CC companies would block transactions to this company. This is a point a have brought up with my CC company and they are looking into it. Use them at your own risk. I would rather pay a few hundred more and not be scammed. Good luck, your gonna need it!
I ordered a Hanhart Preventor watch from Montredo and unfortunately my experience has been extremely disappointing.I waited almost six months for the watch. During that time I was repeatedly given different explanations and promises about the delivery date. In the end, the watch was never delivered and the company never took real responsibility for the situation.After cancelling the order, I have now been waiting more than 15 days for the refund, and I am still receiving vague responses and excuses instead of a confirmation that the money has been returned.I also tried to contact them by phone. When someone finally answered, the person simply hung up during the conversation, which was quite shocking for a company presenting itself as a premium watch retailer.Because of this situation, I have now initiated a chargeback procedure through my bank.Based on my experience, I strongly recommend avoiding this store at all costs.EDIT: I eventually got my refund after 3 weeks.

Although my watch took longer than I thought it would, which was due to inventory shortages by the manufacturer, I always remained confident, and Montredo was always there to reassure me that they would get the watch. After the wait of 5 months, my watch was shipped from Germany with a tracking # and arrved in NY 3 days later via DHL.I paid the duties and the watch was delivered that day, in perfect condition, with a 2 year factory warranty. And the watch is still in short supply, not yet available through many authorized dealers.Best of all I saved about $500. compared to the price of the only US authorized dealer.
I ordered a watch with a 20-day delivery notice. After 20 days I was told they had the invoice and would ship very soon. But then there was a 2-3 week delay because I suppose their contact fell through. This time went by and then I was told of a 2-3 week delay twice more before I asked for a refund for non-delivery. The refund was eventually provided at the end of their 2-week refund policy but only after I felt it necessary to initiate a credit card chargeback because there was no movement to cancel the order on their end for a long time. Overall the lack of communication and multiple delays with both the order and refund process was far too stressful for a large online purchase, and I cannot recommend this company.

Unfortunately, what followed was a period of delays and uncertainty, with no clear timelines or confirmation that the item was actually secured. Updates were generally only provided after I actively followed up.Eventually, after I requested a firm commitment and a delivery deadline, I received a clear timeframe (8–9 days), and to their credit, the watch was delivered within 6 days (total of 40 days after delivery).The item arrived in brand-new condition with all original packaging intact, exactly as expected.Overall, the product and final delivery were satisfactory, but the communication and lack of proactive updates made the process more stressful than it needed to be. With clearer timelines and better follow-through from the outset, this would have been a much stronger experience. If it was clear from the start that it would take around 40 days to delivery or if I received regular detailed updates, it would have been perfectly fine.
