Review Time
I had a very nice man called Khan who was extremely helpful when I was looking for a new car, he spent a lot of time informing me of all my options and offered great advice. It was great to speak with an experienced salesman and I appreciated his time.
The guys were friendly enough but the overall experience was terrible. Me and my partner went to look at one of Motor Giants cars. Whilst waiting I asked if the timing belt had been done (Renault 1.5 DCI engine - so yes has a belt), they tried to claim it had a timing chain and would never need doing - shows how much they know about their cars!! Once a few cars had been moved out of the way we went for a test drive, however one of the salesmen decided to come along which was very awkward and meant we couldn't properly test the car as they took us on a specific route. I immediately found a few issues with the interior (the fans would only blow at your feet and the drivers seat looked like it had been eaten by rats). I also noticed the car wouldn't get up to temperature, it said it was stone cold after a 10 minute drive!After the test drive we had a look at the service history - it was described as full service history. It was missing 4 YEARS (45,000 miles worth) of service history, their excuse was it was during COVID... So cars don't need servicing during COVID? That makes them immune to damage - most ridiculous excuse I've ever heard?!I knew I didn't want the car so I offered them £650 below asking price to see what they would say, without thinking they said yes! Just shows how worthless their cars are and how desperate they are to get rid of them.Most other reviews for this place are 100% fake or people have been paid to leave reviews! Stay FAR FAR away from this place!!!!

Totally unprofessional and untrustworthy.We bought a car from Motor Giant (Peterborough) Ltd, which turned out to have a large number of faults. The car was sold with a full service history, which turned out to be false, and an invoice from a company that appears not to exist for work which clearly hadn't been done.We asked to return the car for a refund. Motor Giant (Peterborough) Ltd refused to refund, which by law they are obliged to. In communication with them, they were both dishonest and aggressive. We are taking them to court in an attempt to get our money back. Currently they ignore all calls and emails. They have either no comprehension or an absolute disregard of UK Law.The owner's previous company (currently suspended from being struck off) is Motor World Peterborough Ltd. Same sorry story here. Genuine reviews indicate similar unlawful behaviour. I doubt this current version (Motor Giant (Peterborough) Ltd) of their awful setup will be around for long before they wind it up and start again under a different name.I can not express how dishonest these people are. Do yourself a favour and avoid this dealer.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS BUSINESS!!!I bought a car from them in November and returned it after a week after owning it for a full refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, they told me they would refund it within 30 working days, it is now the end of January and I have still no sign of this said refund but they have had the car back since November, company are rude and it’s just excuses after excuses.

AVOID THIS GARAGE! Issues from day 1. Car had lots of hidden issues. Garage point blank refused to accept the car back and made every excuse under the sun to avoid fixing the car and hence breaking the law. Currently going through legal process to recover funds. Worst car buying experience I have had by a mile.

If I could offer no stars I would - I bought a Mazda 3 from Motor Giant LTD in April 2024, by October 3rd 2024 I was at work on my way to a patients home (I am a Community Nurse with NHS so car is vital) I was travelling on A6, my car started bellowing smoke and the smoke was thick the car then had cut out on me on the A6 which as young lady very scary and dangerous! I then had to pay to get my car towed to a specialist garage in Loughborough- this garage then looked at my car quickly and noticed my oil was thick and clumpy (almost a solid as the mechanic expressed) he then asked when my last service was- i then answered i have had this car for 5 months and the garage I had bought from (Motor Giant LTD) had done a FULL service and OIL change which I was lead to believe as I had a stamp in my book - the new garage did a full service and and a full engine flush including an oil change, which was costing me a further £400! They had called me after this was done and it wasn't good news! The specialist garage had reported that this was unsuccessful due to the oil travelled allover my engine and in my exhaust system- all in the places it shouldn't be in and this was a 4k fix!!! Bare in mind this car cost me 6.7k! I then had called Motor Giant LTD to inform of this and the findings- i had spoken to owner/manager i believe and on this phone call he was very rude and abrupt! He gave the attitude of that he was not bothered and there is nothing they can do! you don't buy a car for it to be good as dead 5 months later!! I have since gone through CAB who had provided me with email templates to send to Motor Giant LTD on numerous occasions for correspondence to resolve this matter out of the courts, in which they had never replied or communicated with me. CAB has now advised me to take Motor Giant LTD to a small claims court in which again I have communicated to Motor Giant LTD and yet still no correspondence. I have had to take time off from work for stress which had impacted my family- my young son! Not to mention the financial implications its had on me and my family. AVOID THIS GARAGE!! Unless you want your car to break on you months after purchasing! Plenty of bad reviews of Motor Giant LTD on google- look for yourself! Definitely would not recommend this garage at all!! Shocking cowboy operations they don’t care, no after sale service whatsoever and I’m out of pocket for this car and had to buy a cheap runabout for my work.
