Avoid.avoid.avoid. horrible after sales. Newly retired. I treated myself to a car from here (18k) out of my lump sum. Jason SALES dropped me like a ton of bricks less than 24hr post 'handshake'. Interestingly he flashed the QR code to write a review at the point of sale. (Where you're most likely to be elated. Hmmm? ) But my daughter stepped in and said hold off--do it in a few weeks. See what their aftercare is should we need it. Well here it is....Awful. Trust is not a word I'd associate with this place. I noticed a chip on the windscreen before I drove off. Mark the 'Customer Service Manager' promised to send his windshield inspector out to my home to check it out. Fair enough, he sent him. On inspection he said quote 'this has already been repaired but it's not a good job. He could feel the gel and wasn't sure if the cracks sprouting from it from had happened since. He said he'd speak to Mark to put him in the picture and recommended "I'd push for a new windscreen'.....I text Jason after he left, who replied within the hour ..."it's passed an mot, and an AA inspection. Meets industry stands . Enjoy the car thanks". My response: WOW. Less than 24hr after shaking my hand and taking my money. That's my true honest experience. I had to find Mark's number - upset, I text him and left a message to say I was away in France for two weeks from Saturday. And asked him to ring me to sort a new screen...... I'm still waiting......horrible dismissive experience.Anyway ...another sneaky layer- everyone pays for an AA inspection when you buy from here. It's on their website (£250.00) Jason- the smiling assassin - did give me it for £149.99 as a 'sign up today' incentive...' I'm still waiting for the report I paid for.. It's that bad - my daughters now dealing with the AA direct... Trying to understand if they passed that windscreen chip and asking for a copy of that report. (We still don't have a copy from MotorTrust.)Absolute dismissal post sale. Horrible experience.
From the start Jason has been friendly and helpful, answering any and all queries we've had and keeping us updated on the status of our car. The show room is clean and the cars are well looked after. Would happily recommend both Motor trust and Jason.
