Review Time
Please don't use this company. They're absolute hopeless. I'm trying for 2 weeks to cancel my subscription, nobody calls back regarding faults logged, its not easy to cancel subscription or to get hold of support. You'll hold on to a phone call for literal hours and no one will respond. If they do pick up they'll cut the call. Endless problems with them. They didn't even deliver a router to me but I'm being billed for service. Ridiculous.
I have a friend who waited 3 weeks for his sim to be delivered. 3 WEEKS.AND then they delivered it on a Friday afternoon, and we were then told it would take up to 48 WORKING hours for the sim to activate. So my friend would have to wait till potentially Tuesday for the sim to activate.Have waited up to an hour and a half to be helped by tech support. Not blaming tech support , but MWEB don't have enough people manning those stations. We were 8 in the queue and it took an hour and a half waiting time.Emails sent receive no replies.
Pathetic customer service 48hrs later and I have to call them every few hours to find out what the problem is.Then the so called customer assistance cut the calls or move u to another agent who expects u to start over with yre personal details.I have wasted over r500 on airtime trying to contact them, to resolve the problem that was on their side..N I waited 25min to speak to a manager who apparently left for the afternoon.I will be advising everyone in my complex to move away from mweb as it was not our choice to go with them.We were with bundu network and they apparently sold out to mweb.
Mweb has the worst service ever. We thinking of cancelling with them. We log a problem Friday, spent along time on the phone and being transferred to different departments. Spending alot on airtime. It's a simple problem, a broken fibre line that needs to be reconnected.
Absolutely poor service! Still waiting for SIM card to be delivered from around mid Feb. Escalated to supervisor who did not respond, then through the complaints email on the 7th of March and to date still no resolution. I have been a loyal customer with MWEB for over 10 years and really did not expect such poor customer service from both MWEB and one of their nominated courier CCD couriers. It takes these types of incidents to push you to consider looking elsewhere. Sorry MWEB team, you are not as reliable as advertised
