Worst company ever !!! I never in my life experienced a worse company. I have been with you MFs for 3 years and you treat us like **** !!! You show "specials" on your website for cheaper wifi, but you do not contact us regarding specials. We asked you to call us more then several times !!!!!! No one EVER GOT BACK TO US..... you promote good customar service, but you have poor communication. SCREW THIS COMPANY!!!! I'm reporting you to HALLO PETER!!! ALL I ASKED FOR WAS A CALL BACK AND GOT NOTHING.... Never using you guys again !!!! Expect a bad reveiw from hallo peter and social media. Best you contact me via email immediately!!!!!!!!
I've always been very happy with my mweb service. Today, I'm just beyond passed offI called in for technical assistance with the installation of my new modem. Waited 25 min to get through from my mobile. Finally got through half way through my call I couldn't hear the tech anymore. He kept saying can you hear me now. After answering no several times I lost my temper and said no matter how many times you ask I still can't hear you. He could hear me. I asked him to call back and give him my Landline number. He never called me back. That was 5 hours ago.I called in to speak to a sales consultant then asked to speak to technical I was put on hold and told there were 26 people ahead of me. So another 25 min wait. So i put down the phone. I emailed sos@ mweb.co.za and left an email asking for an urgent call back. Its been 6 hours and NOTHING!!!!!! If you're this busy at least have the decency to have a callback system where you call the client when they're 1st in line. So I'm now sitting with no Internet and no TV as I live stream for 8 hours now. &£#!^& I'M INCREDIBLY PISSED OFF still sitting with no resultsFURTHER FEEDBACKI'm trying to add a new product to my current contract with mweb.I sent them an email complaining about the poor service and saying I wanted to add a product. Sent this on Friday no one has bothered to contact me it's Tuesday now. What a joke. It doesn't matter how good your Internet is this service is unacceptable. I intend searching for a new provider. I'M DONE!!!!Here's the biggest joke while waiting for mweb to answer the phone I searched for new service providers and found one whose cheaper and gave me better service.Axxess thank you for your great prices and brilliant service.MWEB YOU SUCK I think you're even worse than Telkom
Waiting 2 months and counting for order to be completed.They literally just have to reactivate the network.Absolutely horrible shell of their former self.UPDATE: 2 weeks later and many hours of airtime wasted (listening to them explain how terrible their service is and blaming that on their call volumes) they finally activated the line just as I were trying to cancell it. My advice, stay away and look for another service provider.
If I could give them a 0 I would. Absolutely terrible customer service. Wasting my airtime on their “helpline” without any answer. No communication on my order after it is now 3 weeks late without anything being done. Absolutely terrible.
The Mweb service has dropped to such an unacceptably low level that I have been forced to move to another ISP. 3 reasons: 1. They provided a misleading emailed promotion that our fibre line speeds would be doubled from 1 Nov 22 to March 23. No such change happened despite several interactions about it. There was no attempt to explain why it was not happening. It amounts to a dishonest claim. (this dishonesty was what made me, in the end, terminate them as my ISP) Secondly, they could not sustain line stability and I mostly have line speed to 20 - 30 Mbps as opposed to 50. Finally, try to terminate their ISP services! It is impossible - the online cancellation page does not work! You need to talk to a person which means working through their painful call centre system. I have to add that when do talk to someone they are pretty helpful.
They do not even deserve that one star.A mere enquiry for VoIP has gone unanswered for a fortnight now.. Calling them on 0877005000 has not helped either. Was transfered from pillar to post for at least 10 minutes until I decided to drop the call. Tried getting hold of them on their website and still no luck. Would never recommend MWeb to anyone at all.
Mweb is the worst experience I have ever had in my entire life. I have paid for 3 months for a fibre connection service they never finished installing and I could never even start to use. I have spent hours on the phone to them and eventually requested to terminate the contract. I was assured that it would be fine to terminate the contract due to my ongoing struggle with them, only to be charged over R3000 for an early termination. This unprofessional service is disgusting.
Extremely poor customer service. We contacted them with regards to a very intermittent internet connection. After running test after test after test, which they say the client must do even tho you pay them. They still can't solve the problem or don't want to. Who knows at this point. It's been going on for months. Every time you want to log a complaint you the client which is the one that pay MWEB, must still waste your time by running test after test. This is appalling.
I asked to upgrade my fibre line on the 18/01/2023, I got an sms and email saying it will take between 1-3 working days. I then get another email and sms stating that Frogfoot would contact me for installation of a new fibre line. Why would I want a new fibre line if I already have one. I have phoned and spent roughly 2.5 hrs trying to sort this out. I have sent countless queries online to be told that I have reached my query limit. Please Mweb, this is not rocket science, upgrade my line!!
