This site was referred after a purchase from Debenhams.I had some difficulty signing up and navigating through the offers, but in the end all I was able to process was a second Debenhams purchase. All their other offers were for products and services I didn't really want or for services that are closed during the lockdown. Because there is a monthly charge, I had no real option but to cancel membership because there was no way of making further purchases to get extra cashback. The initial £15 reward was provided without delay so I have to give 5 stars for essentially free money!
Noted two unexpected £15 WLY transactions on my current account..! The root cause being from a purchase from the Debenhams website..!Went on the Debenhams Website purchased several items for family Christmas presents. On then paying for these items a number of pop-up windows displayed offering a £15 discount on my next Debenhams purchase. Another window then displayed offering 10 Percent discount on future Debenhams purchases. It DID NOT state anything clearly about joining and paying for £15 a month fee for a so called Rewards scheme and another £15 Complete Saving membership scheme.Debenhams should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this on their website.Currently cancelling Debit Card, requesting a Debit Card Chargeback through my bank and making a formal complaint to Debenhams. Also consider making a formal complaint to Ombudsman Services under Consumer Rights and notifying to the Information Commissioner’s Office for a breach of the Guide to the General Data Protection Regulation on Debenhams passing my personal details to a third party without my consent.
Caught in this scam too, cancelled card with bank and in the process of claiming money back, THANK YOU SANTANDER. Maybe banks could send text messages for an unusual payment request and detail the amount and who is requesting it as an alert giving people time to check and the bank to refuse if it is an unknown payment such as a fraud like this one. It is a time consuming process whenever you realise a fraud on your account and for the bank staff too. It's a sad reality during such difficult times, I've learned a lesson I shouldn't have to learn re checking my account every few days
I was surprised to find two deductions of £15 from my debit card, I had not idea what this was for, I had not subscribed to my rewards. I had shown my phone no. at a couple of cafes as is now required due to Covid so I wondered if my account or phone no. had been compromised. The bank cancelled them from taking any further payments and suggested I apply for a new card but that would take a week to receive a new card and affect utility payments by direct debit so I called them up, it was a call centre in India and a long drawn out process he took my name and address phone no etc, which I really did not want to give as I have had the same nightmare scenario with Talk Talk and Indian call centres in the past which sell on your details and you are plagued by calls from there trying to sell you something or other. After much waiting he 'located my membership' though I had never signed up in the first place, he agreed to cancel my membership and said it was related to PlumbWorld I have never purchased anything from that company so i see all of this as one big massive con. Be wary and always check your statements and email them to dispute any illegal withdrawls from your account: customerservice at mytimerewards co uk
I had £15 taken from my account without my consent!I phoned them and a man said that i signed up when booking a train ticket using thetrainline.com.I told him that I have never signed up to anything using Trainline, not knowingly anyway.I think it offers you a discount but in reality you get charged for it (which they don't mention on the website)!I asked for a complete refund(s) and cancel any accounts in my name. He agreed.I have to wait 3-5 days for refund.PS, the man on the phone got very rude and unprofessional with me towards the end of the phone call.1000% a complete scam!
