I ended not using my ticket in either…

I ended not using my ticket in either direction. For the departure, I missed the 3.30AM service and so the next was not until 5 AM. So I ended up taking a taxi. I was told this is due to shortage of drivers. For the return, I waited for a bit at Heathrow coach station - which is a bit of chaos. Then decided to use the Elizabeth line train instead for it being quicker. So ended in not using the coach tickets.

Reserved seat sold to another passenger

Paid to reserve " my desired spot on the coach" on boarding found National express had sold it to someone else, along with the 2 seats behind the driver. A regular occurrence if the driver is to be believed.

Comfortable coach trip after 24 hours flying

This was the first time I had travelled using the coach. I found it easy to navigate and booked online with no fuss. I had to change the day of arrival after my initial booking and was able to do quite easily for a small fee. The buses were clean, fresh and on time. The driver was helpful, polite and handled by case with care.
