Reliable Secondary Banking Option

I've been using this service as a secondary bank without any issues. They offer significantly better interest rates on high-interest savings compared to my primary bank, and their cashback program with the card is generous.

Response Regarding E-Transfer Inquiry

I understand there was a notification about my recent e-Transfer attempts. I was expecting an e-transfer for gifts totaling $441.00 from a close friend I've known for five years. I can confirm the legitimacy of the e-transfer. Please reach out if you have further questions.

Frustrating Refund Process

I opened a credit card to build credit but faced issues accessing my account. After overpaying, I tried to cancel my card. Despite multiple calls and promises of refunds, I haven't seen my money returned. They seem to have tactics to delay refunds, which is incredibly frustrating. I will pursue legal action to recover my funds.

Unclear Process for Closing Credit Card

The instructions for closing my credit card were confusing, and the customer service was disappointingly slow. I was charged an annual fee due to the unclear process. When I reached out for help, the responses were generic and unhelpful. My request for escalation was denied, leading to a frustrating experience. I'm dissatisfied with the support I received and hope this issue is addressed.

Extremely Frustrating Application Experience

I faced a very frustrating and misleading experience while applying for the credit card. The representative provided incorrect information about the card's benefits and entered my income inaccurately without my consent. They even opened a checking account in my name without authorization. Although the head office acknowledged the mistakes, they were unable to assist in resolving the issues caused by their staff. This level of negligence is unacceptable, and I advise potential customers to proceed with caution.

Horrible “bank,” a big emphasis on bank…

Horrible “bank,” a big emphasis on bank because despite acting like a bank, they are just a fintech company that can’t get their head out and are completely lost. I closed my accounts after they started charging fees on their credit accounts; it’s crazy to me! The fact that these thieves are constantly trying to find ways to make money from their EXISTING customers rather than find a more profitable path… I knew it was time when I also looked more into their CEO and found out it’s the same person behind Skip the Dishes (Uber/DIDI knock-off “Uber from SHEIN”), the very same company that couldn’t survive and have any market share. It’s obvious they don’t value loyalty nor care about customers, and I have heard the same about how they treat their employees using the same devices for work/personal stuff. I don’t know how they haven’t been fined yet. They lack any basic common sense and are extremely slow and unhelpful; they cannot process a simple refund to your card, and if you are a person who values your time, stay away. A poor financial service company that’s bound to fail, and hopefully, customers will not be affected when that happens. I would give it negative stars if I could!

Misleading, dishonest company.

Received offer from Neo MC thru Borrowell. They claimed i was pre-approved. I filled in the form and created an account, then they tell me i have to pay a fee of 7.99 a month and i have to put money on the card (like a prepaid mastercard) . So i refused. Now my credit will have a new inquiry and my credit score will go down because of them! They misled me into applying, and got my personal info, thinking it was a real credit card but its just a prepaid card with extremely high fees! Do not use Neo!

This is the most incompetent financial…

This is the most incompetent financial institution out there. I signed up for a credit card that can't be use for large transactions because their fraud team will automatically decline it. They then ask you to call where I'm put on hold for 3 hours. Afterwards they interrogate you like your commiting the fraud yourself. They ask you how many loans/credit cards you have with other banks. Even verifying all personal information isn't enough. If your not 100% accurate, they will tell you to call back. Can't you get this information from the hard credit check? What is the point of signing up for a credit card if you can't even use it? I know based on reviews that they don't reimburse you if fraud happens so I understand why they are so strict. But I'm being punished for being a customer which NO other banks do.Honestly stay away from this company because they will waste your time, stress you out just for doing something you can normally do any any of the top 6 banks in Canada.

Frozen Account

My account was frozen because they said they were doing random checks just like the other client’s said. That was frustrating but thanks to Adelaipe for helping me unfreezing my account. I’ve been using Neo for 3 years now and I’m happy as long as they’re willing to be in my service when I needed to. Adelaipe was 1/3 customer service that I talked to today and she’s the only one who really enjoys her job when talking to clients and really patient with my questions.
