Sturdy High-Quality Treadmill by NordicTrack

I've been using the NordicTrack Commercial 1750 Treadmill and have to say that this treadmill is large, sturdy, and definitely made with quality in mind. The assembly process itself was quite simple and quick with two people. Running on it is a dream—the deck has a great spring to it, cushioning my step. The screen is beautiful, and can tilt and swivel to make the viewing angle more comfortable. The space-saving lift mechanism is effective, which I use after every workout. I also appreciate the loud and clear speakers, and the built-in fan, though fixed, covers a wide area. The automatic incline and speed adjustments during iFit workouts really make this treadmill stand out. This is an incentivized review.

PREDATORY COMPANY

First:The nordictrack s22i bike has forced an update allowing consumers to no longer access netflix. Then immediately comes out with a new bike that has netflix. So pay thousands for a new bike to access softwear they forced you to loss. Also, the update made the s22i table soooo slow.Second: The ifit app made all of their videos locked to premium members (except 15 mediocre videos) and increased their membership form $15 to $40. So now if I want to use the bike as more than a basic stationary bike I have to pay almost 3x the price. The fact that is isn't against consumer protection laws is outrageous!We paid thousands for our bikes only to have restricted access to our own machines and to be ambushed with significant price hikes. The only reason people bought norditrack instead of peloton is because peloton treated their consumers the same way norditrack is now. Just get a basic stationary bike at this point.Also, good luck connecting with an actual human on customer service. I stayed on "connecting" for an hour before I gave up.

Fair treadmill with terrible program

I recently purchased a new (2024) NordicTrack 1750 commercial. I previously had an older model (2018) that recently stopped working, but had been a terrific treadmill during it’s lifespan. Nordictrack has apparently decided to focus it’s entire business model on the IFit subscription ($15-$39/mo; $144-$396/ year) which I neither need nor want. Instead, I have been using the manual mode, with some difficulty. They have seemingly programmed the unit to constantly remind you that you should subscribe to IFit. They even periodically make it very difficult to use manual mode unless you take a photo of a QR code, go to a website, and decline IFit. This is corporate harassment, and if I wasn’t past the return window - I would certainly do so. The hardware is also less user friendly. For one thing the speed, incline, and fan electronic controls are on the black horizontal bar below the display screen. They are not backlit and very difficult to see and use (poor contrast lettering on dark background). I had to attach a small battery operated LED light above these controls to be able to see them. Also, the touchscreen frequently stops responding, necessitating disconnecting unit from power source, then restarting. There is only one fan on the unit (there were 3 on my 2018 commercial 1750) and it is very noisy on high. All in all the commercial 1750 is a significant step down in quality and functionality from prior models. The additional hassle of their obsession with getting users to subscribe to IFit makes a bad unit even worse. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND PURCHASE OF THIS UNIT!!!

Replacement parts extortion

I recently had my treadmill after 2 years of good normal service stop working.The electronic controller failed (150 euros). I asked for a replacement part and was told that I needed also the purchase a drive motor for an additional 250 euros … there is not technical reason for the replacement but Nordic track claim I am not allowed warranty on the replacement controller without purchasing the replacement drive motor. Additionally even though the replacement part is a simple plug and play they want to bring a service engineer on site to install for a second time (first time they didn’t bring spare parts). Even the engineer said this was not necessary but a consistent practice from NordicTrack While I was happy with the product, I feel the service department is extorting the client through additional unnecessary costs. Replacement part with instructions would have been 150€ but other parts and service person = 730€This practice does not lead to repeat and loyal customer base

I love the flexibility of training…

I love the flexibility of training options that the platform offers and the ability for different profiles to track their own performance and goals.I’d love to see a FTP Test & specific Interval Sessions to set a marker and track impact and improvements and ideally align some AI-ML to allow you to set goals, structure training to match with goals and align recommendations for training and adaptations.

Great all around treadmill

The NordicTrack 1750 has superseded my expectations in every way. It was easy to assemble which for me was a huge plus. It also folds up making it easy to move and store, which was also crucial because of the limited space I have in my home. I have also appreciated its design-it looks good, is sturdy, and quiet, which as a father of two kids under five, allows me to work out in the early morning or late at night without disrupting our families routine. Last, it’s easy to use as the speed, incline and decline features are on the sides of the screen. I would recommend this treadmill to anyone. This is an incentivized review.

Busy Dad

I am a busy dad that loves to run outside, but due to life, sometimes I don’t have time or need to run at odd times. My hectic schedule has led me to neglect my fitness. The Nordictrak 1250 has been a game changer and has helped me to get back into shape! The treadmill with the integration of iFit provides an interaction exercise experience that I can use anytime. I’ve enjoyed running and working out when I have a few minutes!Installation was super easy (especially with the attached directions and clearly labeled hardware). The unit actually comes with full size tools for installation and clear instructions! After installation, I was able to get it going quickly and ran a trail in Patagonia and in Italy! The trainers on iFit are fantastic, they do a good job of describing the area, providing encouragement and the treadmill adjusts to the routes (including with incline and speed). This was an incentivized review, but I would 100% recommend the Nordictrack 1250 treadmill to anyone.

Ifit software is crashing

My problem is with the ifit software that goes with my bike keeps crashing. I have spent the last hour just trying to open up a ride.What is good with nordic track? The physical equipment is well made. The ifit trainers themselves are amazing. What is bad? The ifit software. The software crashes often. There is an error in some of the if-else statements*(controls conditional branching).Specifically, the ifit software crashes when opening the library. The software crashes sometimes when opening a ride.To the software engineer or coder working at ifit: the error occurs right at user imput. The program stalls then quits.I really want ifit to succeed, I really enjoy the trainers and the amazing bike rides on the bike. I haven't had good luck with customer service in the past. So, I am hoping to resolve this quickly here. I will happily take down my review when ifit stops crashing. Please fix ifit.

NordicTrack has lost a customer for life

Buyer beware. Exceptionally poor quality and service.We ordered a brand new EXP10i treadmill with the white glove delivery and assembly and iFit 1 year membership.The "white glove delivery and assembly" charge was $249. The assembly was completed extremely poorly (banging on the cheap plastic parts to get them to "fit", dropping parts and tools, leaving the final installation of the display crooked- it appears bent or just so low quality that it sits at an angle, etc) and the team left a mess and dented the wall next to the machine.Overall the quality of the machine is extremely poor. The belt was poorly aligned (since the installation team apparently doesn't do that... white glove assembly indeed) and overall the machine has a very cheap feel.I inquired regarding exchanging the machine for a much more expensive Commercial model, but it was explained to me by the "customer service" representative that I would be charged a $250 return fee, a 10% restocking fee, and not be reimbursed or credited for the $249 delivery and assembly since exchanges are treated as returns.I would then be charged an additional $249 2nd "white glove delivery" fee for the delivery of the new, over twice as expensive machine that would hopefully be higher quality and actually assembled correctly.Um, NO thank you. We will pass on ever purchasing or owning a NordicTrack product and happily warn everyone against this company and their "30-DAY RETURN POLICY*".*UPDATED* RESPONSE TO THE INITIAL NORDICTRACK RESPONSE POSTED HERENordicTrack has made no effort to resolve this issue.Other than the public post here in which they supposedly take responsibility by posting "the experience you have shared does not meet our product or service expectations.", which is an obvious attempt to create the perception that they "...appreciate this information so we can improve our processes." and that "We have looked into your situation and show that you are being assisted with this."The only action NordicTrack has taken has been to send me a message that "We are in the process of searching for a local charity, donation center and/or removal services in your area who provide in-home pickups."I have received no other contact or refunds.DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH NordicTrack.Hopefully they "...appreciate this information so we can improve our processes."*UPDATED*NordicTrack's "assistance" was simply to have a local 3rd party contact me.They have arranged for 1-800 Got Junk to pickup the 3 week old equipment?!JUNK indeed.
