Worse than internet in the poorest parts of africa. I pay for 1g internet and barely get an unstable 20mbs. I have tried to have them replace the equipment but they refuse. I believe they are using covid as an excuse to reduce paying customers internet bandwidths but not reduce their price. Do NOT use NOS.
Man I’m gonna be honest , pure trash I paid for 100mb internet that was unlimited and as soon as I went over 40gb they slowed my speed to 10mb/s even thought it’s written in the contract they won’t slow the speed, and I only get 30mb/s max so absolute bs
Worst customer service in Portugal, by far!A friend lent us a mobile Internet terminal whilst our fibre optic service was o/o/s. I topped it up on line but service was still slow. Went to the Nos stand and was told the payment had not gone through so paid again. Asked the girl at the nos to request refund. After 2 weeks no refund and on paying for a second period I asked for this again. Spoke at great length to the customer service(ha ha) agent on the phone who refused a refund and said only additional days would be credited. As the fibre optic was now connected this wasn't required. Returned to the nos stand and the then spoke to another agent who said there was no problem, took my bank Iban number and promised reimbursement. 1 month later and holding on the line for a total of over 4 hours and nothing. May only be 15eu but if nos can scam 10% of their clients this way how much is that in unearned income?
Charged me for a service I didn’t use for 3 years, impossible to discuss with them as they do not answer the phone or have a viable email address. Finally admitted I had never used the service, refused to refund anything as a Portuguese document had been signed saying that I accepted the service. They also refused to cancel the agreement over the phone, I had to visit the shop.
We had NOS internet in our apartment in Portugal and were going to upgrade with them but twice the engineer did not turn up so we went with a different provider. We have a management company that pays our bills and we realised after a year that NOS had started taking another standing order from us. I have phoned, written to their managing director and e-mailed them and am still waiting on a refund. Every time I do manage to get through I am told yes its their mistake and I will be refunded and someone will phone me back and 4 months later I am still waiting. This is the worst service I have ever experienced - dont touch NOS with a barge poll.
Worst company I had to deal with ever! Be very careful before you do a contract. Everything is easy at the beginning but when you want to stop the service after your contract is finished they make your life impossible. They asked me to send a letter!! Which century do you live in?! I stayed in the phone for more than 2 hours to connect to technical team to be able to register my equipment after more than 2 years of having them, just to be able to cancel. I have never experienced such thing!!
