Poor service despite frequent contact

The company is very eager to contact you endlessly to sell via phone and messages, but they show no concern in communicating or explaining service outages. I experienced a full day without internet and received no word from them. They don’t deserve my business.

Frustrating experience with eSIM

Good day, I wanted to purchase an eSIM card from the company and visited their store, but was informed that the card wasn't available at that moment. I went there five times over two months! It was always the same response. I asked how to order it online and was given a service number. I arranged a call for the next day but was told to go to a store to get the card. I explained my repeated visits. I was then transferred to another employee who was friendly and competent. She explained that the eSIM is only for existing customers. That was the first time I heard that! She said I need to buy a 'normal' SIM card to then exchange it for an eSIM. Oh my God... How complicated and 'customer-friendly'!

Total scammers at NOS!

Total scammers! I came to Portugal to learn the language. The dream of every countries economy to get people with pension from another country.I went to a NOS Loja and signed up for mobile service.I explicitly said I want no long term contract . They told me no problem and that I could cancel my contract anytime!As I’m not fluent in Portuguese, they sold me a one year contract. Okay, I’ve been here for a year now. So far so good.Then my previous partner went back to Canada. I wanted to cancel her contract and they said no chance as they extended it. So I negotiated to have the contract suspended for three month until my fiancée is coming to Portugal to live with me. Again, I explained that I initially insisted not to have a long term contract. They surreptitiously made an extension of TWO YEARS! Don’t go to NOS, nor MEO!!! Same shit on a different pile! They are criminals! Scammers of the worst kind. They are getting paid commissions and tell you one thing and then totally screw you over! Luckily I can reverse it and renegotiate. But the hassle is just not worth it! STAY AWAY FROM ANY NOS AND MEO SERVICE!!!

Impossible to communicate in English…

Impossible to communicate in English with them via phone or app.There App is about as bad as can be....all it wants is to sell you more . Customer service is zero .My internet service drops to year 1999 if there is festa nearby. The router gets so hot I'm worried it will set fire to my house Definate evidence of chocking, illegal in Europe.All devices defaulting to 144 megs , not even 250;megs on YT so have to manually switch to 250 so I can see reasonable video quality.

BEWARE of NOS

BEWARE: NOS has the worst customer service in PORTUGAL. Trying to cancel services has been worst than undergoing surgery without anesthesia. Three trips to physical locations yielded the same result- NOTHING!Staff was rude, condescending, lying, changing stories on the spots, and " conveniently forgetting" how to speak English. SHAME

The service does not operate at the speed that was advertised at the time of purchase.

Despite multiple calls requesting cancellation due to the service not delivering the promised speed, I was repeatedly told that someone from the cancellations department would contact me via phone, SMS, or email. However, I never received any confirmation or follow-up.Today, after several calls to both the technical and cancellations departments, and multiple visits to your store, I finally managed to speak with someone who initiated the cancellation process—though it is still not completed.I am extremely frustrated and upset, especially since I requested the cancellation within the two-week period I was told was required to avoid penalties. Yet, I am now being told that I must pay a penalty because the cancellation is only now being processed.I have also documented my complaint in the official complaint book, as advised.Given this experience, I would not recommend your service to anyone. The lack of responsiveness, knowledge, accountability, and the constant passing between teams has been completely unacceptable.

Why bot to choose NOS

I was using it for two years now and I recently counted how much I have to spend by the contract per month and after I was using roaming in many countries like Switzerland and United States. All the time we travel, I have received the bills of around 200-300Euro. They have no limitation placed while using their services. So no customer is aware of how much of a bill they will receive. A side the way overcount GB of internet. Service is too expensive with poor quality of service and customer support line. I won’t recommend it to anyone as there is many alternative services on the market who is 95% cheaper and better.

Would give them ZERO stars if possible. Customer service is a joke!! What is the point of regulators if they allow companies to treat their customers so badly.

Nonsense Online Service (NOS)

If I could give this company minus star rating I would do so. I advise anyone thinking of needing internet supplier to use any company but NOS. They provided a service that didn’t work properly after failing to arrive on agreed date. Trying to communicate with them is impossible. Sending letters by registered post doesn’t receive any response other than a threat to instigate proceedings. They do not provide any explanation about their responsibility and failure to deliver a decent service. There are no options to have a payment plan without a range of caveats that ultimate do not provide a solution. Constant reminders that they will instigate proceedings for a service that doesn’t work properly. Be aware that going into a store removes the 14 days cooling off period. If you agree a contract on line you are protected for cancelling within 14 days.Buyer beware!!!
