Appalling. When I explained my many problems to their agent in their store at Faro he and his colleagues laughed and explained that their mother had had similar trouble for ten years. Nothing was ever done about it. Their instore agents are friendly but cannot do anything, including put you through to the relevant people or help you get through to them. Endlessly annoying and utterly useless. (Oh, and multiple complaints through their online site go unanswered) still
I strongly advise against choosing NOS if you do not speak Portuguese. NOS employees will very likely take a huge advantage on you. I was mislead into buying very expensive packages with services I never asked for. There is no English speaking customer service, and it is very difficult to find someone who would be willing to speak in English. It took me 4 months and a lot of hours to cancel all the unwanted services, and in the end I still receive only half of the upload speed.
Where do I start? I was happy with mobile phone, but then wanted to add Internet/DSL. Got in Black Friday, good price. Since then there were 4 (!!!) attempts for a technician to come. I have NEVER witnessed something like this in my quite long life. First 2 times they just dont come. I write emails, the email address is not the right one, cant be used. I write their support, they dont answer for 4 days. I go to the shop and they tell me I need to be available via phone for basically 12 hours the day the technician comes. What the F? Some people work. I AM AT HOME, what a stupid process is that that the technican calls first before coming? I have lived in 4 countries and never heard of that. After all, I EXPLICITLY spent 10 € taking an uber to go to the shop and tell them they should come. Ok, anyway, this is complete braindead process does not work at all. I scheduled a third meetup with the technician yesterday (monday). I get unknown numbers calling me from 8:30 even though the technician is scheduled only at 1 pm THE EARLIEST. I didnt take the first call, since I was busy working and they only wanted to come 5 hours later. Ok, took another call, it was NOS something about the technician, the lady told me in perfect English she cant speak english and a coworker will call me. One hour later her coworker calls me, doesnt speak English. Ok? So later a third person calls me and we set up a date for today afternoon. Okay, so today I was availble already in the morning and checked my phone for 12 hours. At around 12:30 (technician scheduled for 1pm to 6pm) I get a call if I am happy with my mobile service and I say... yeah, but the internet thing has really not worked so far. The lady tells me something is wrong with my data and no one will come today (again, 4th try!). So I am at the phone with this lady for 25min and she takes all my data again and now I dont get the black friday offer anymore ofc and I pay like 3 euros more per month but thats 75 € over the contract. Like... I am not happy. Anyway, so we schedule for the 15th of December. I get a text confirmation. Now, I got another unknown number call (maybe the technician would have come today after all? Who knows) and since I didnt take it, half an hour later I get another text confirmation for the technician to come on the 14th of December?????? Didnt I just today schedule him for the 15th? What is wrong with this company. I want my original contract for 75 € less and a technician who just comes at the agreed upon time instead of doing all kinds of sheningans. Maybe they say they save money or effort or time or whatever by calling first, but very obviously they do not. I had 4 people call me, that I talked to, plus some more I didnt talk to probably, I had to talk to someone at the store... so 5 people were at least involved for at least 45min... instead they should just come by like a normal person, like DHL, like DPD, like IKEA, like EDP, like Aqua companies etc... this calling first is the most stupid process I have ever encountered in a company in my life.
I finished a two year contract with TV Home phone and 2 x mobiles took all equipment back and was assured that I could keep just mobile for 12€ a month. Im now back in UK and they have started a new contract at 63.39€ month and Im not even there !! I made it clear that I was returning to UK ! I need to keep mobile number for business. Left on long distance call for ages to try and sort this out. I'm fuming. DONT USE NOS
I will not suggest to buy contract from NOS specially because I went with my friend to there store to transfer my connection when I went there they told me no need to transfer the contract Just pay your bill and finish this contract and you dont have to pay any thing i paid my bills and after two months i got invoice of 478 euro i went to store and ask them why you issue the invoice and they told me because you finish your contract earlier. Man are you stupid I took my friend with me to transfer my contract on his name and you did not transfer the contract. They made new contract on my friend name and also charge me so guys careful they are thieves. Big Thieves Stupid's.
As I was leaving Portugal in August this year, I wanted to end my internet contract with them, I showed them proof that I was going to leave the country and live somewhere else (which is what they asked me in order to terminate the contract.)Of course, I paid for the last invoice I had with them and I even returned the box to the store.They said ok the contract is canceled and I signed the proof (which I still have) that I returned their box.But then I received a new invoice, so I called them, spent more than an hour (being transferred from one department to another) to let them know I already canceled the contract before that new invoice and they said ok it was all good, the cancelation wasn't registered before(?!) but now it was fine the contract was terminated.Now about a month after, I just received another invoice and tried to call them but they left me hanging there for 40 min before hanging up. I'm living in another country now, and I have no idea how to stop this ridiculous situation with these clowns. NEVER SUBSCRIBE ANYTHING WITH NOS.
