The product is great, customer service was good at responding. But the shipping was an issue. The website said it was coming from California, then turns out it was not. It came from China. Took over a month to get this with corona virus issues. Everything came as promised, just really late.
These kits are awesome! I was disappointed with the shipping delays, although none of that was PaintGem's fault...they are taking the extra precautions with covid to ensure a safe (and fun) product arrives as soon as possible. What I really appreciate is their responsiveness and communication with the delay.
I wanted to order a PaintGem since it was all I was seeing over Facebook and Instagram. Cute packaging, the cookie wax, and the drill pen had my hooked! So I decide to place an order April 20th. I never received an order number till I contacted them. That was April 30th. Didn’t receive another email about being shipped till May 4th. After couple of weeks it got delivered June 25th. Everything I order was there. The canvas quality is nicer than those on amazon so that’s a plus! And drills are sparkly and nice. I think shipping had to do a lot with covid. If you are down to wait for a long time try PaintGem. If not try amazon. But I’m happy that it finally came.
The delay was due to the unprecedented circumstances (COVID-19), so it took longer than expected. Although it took longer the staff worked diligently to provide me constant information on my order. I received my kit and it is FABULOUS! I also appreciate the compensation for the extended wait time! I can not fault the company for world issues that delayed delivery. Thanks PaintGem!
I’ve tried to be patient with this company before writing my review. While the products themselves were a good quality the customer service/shipping was terrible. Rather than be honesty with their customers that the shipping could take up to 8+ weeks they kept trying to blame USPS for not scanning packages. These items were stuck in NY for over a month (mostly likely in customs but since I can’t get a straight answer I can only assume). I was promised a free kit to make up for the delays, it has now been 2 weeks since I filled out their form requesting it. I was told last week a manager would be emailing and have received nothing but silence. I’m throwing in the towel and will no longer buy from this company. Since this order I’ve ordered from another company and received my diamond paintings in just over 2 weeks (1 was a custom print). To PaintGem, learn from the experience to be honest with your customers. You could have avoided much of the anger you are now receiving had you told us due to COVID ANd custom procedures your order won’t be delivered until x amount of time. Every other company I’ve dealt with has been up front with any long delays before placing the orders. I’m giving 2 stars instead of just 1 because I did like my products once I finally received them
I ordered in April 22 but I just received my order today June 25th it was super late but every time I emailed to ask about my shipment they always replied right away or reassured me my package would soon arrive. Overall I am happy with everything I received everything is as pictured nothing damaged everything in good condition. Oh and for being late they are giving me a free item either stickers, voucher or a free kit :)
I absolutely LOVE Paintgem! Due to the pandemic, my order took almost two months to get here, but honestly, it was worth the wait. Keep in mind when ordering that Paintgem doesn’t have control over shipping delays. When I reached out, concerned about my order, Paintgem’s customer service was excellent. Now that my products are here, the quality is amazing. Everything came organized and individually wrapped. The directions are very easy to follow and painting with gems is SO relaxing. The end product is beautiful! Don’t let a delay in shipping right now stop you, you won’t regret ordering from Paintgem.
