Review Time
Had a jacket which was letting water through at the shoulders and elbows.Sent into Paramo for evaluation.They got back to me promptly saying that it had been overproofed there, and were already washing / reproofing the jacket properly.I believe they gave it 2/3 cycles to get it back to its best.Haven’t taken it out in the rain as of yet due to decent weather.Sean, who I was in contact with, was very clear and replied within a great time frame.Overall, it was great service and I would confidently purchase from them again.
Amazing service from Ewan at the Keswick store despite me being in Cardiff at the time!Having called Páramo UK as I wanted to use my blue light discount card I was directed to the Keswick Brand Store who could orchestrate this.Having dialled the number I was Greeted by Ewan. He was friendly, knowledgeable and went out of his way to help me. This was very much appreciated. He managed my expectations with regard to dispatch, invoicing and timescales. In summary, everything said would happen, happened my parcel arrived earlier than expected, invoice emailed and hard copy with my parcel.The product is without doubt one of the best on the market, quirky and different but always functional and excellent quality every time.All in all an excellent experience and one very happy customer.Thank you.
My ALTA III jacket has been brilliant, but after washing and reproofing it suddenly failed when walking for about three hours in steady rain. I contacted Paramo, who quickly replied, suggesting I sent back the jacket under the warranty for inspection. Within a few days, the workshop suggested they thoroughly cleaned the jacket as I had over-proofed it, which caused it to fail. The fabric is now beading well. Throughout, I was kept informed, and given good advice for future care. Very glad to have the warranty, and such good after sales service.
My husband and I made a long list of new kit required to take on our upcoming 'expedition' to walk the coast of mainland Great Britain ... 7300 miles to be precise. We've used Páramo products for many years, so their reputation is already high up there in our good books. We made the hour and a half journey to the Ringwood Páramo store and from the moment we set foot inside the shop, we felt welcomed and fully supported to take as long as we needed. Each member of staff, Andrew (the Manager), Graham, Audrey and their Customer Experience Manager, Kate, were patient, knowledgeable, friendly and gave us so much of their time. Even after so many years of using their gear, we learnt so much more about the function, aftercare and perfect pairing systems of the clothing. Can't wait to start our epic two-year adventure now, knowing we'll be roasty-toasty, cosy and dry in our Páramo gear. All this AND the company has THE best ethical and sustainable values which always ticks an important box for me. Thanks Páramo ... we feel like we've come away from the Ringwood store with not just a rucksack full of high quality kit but a heart full of new friends too! Can't wait to come back one day!
