I am extremely disappointed with my experience using ParcelMonkey. I shipped a package to China five months ago, followed all instructions carefully, and completed all required paperwork. This is not my first time shipping to China, and I have never experienced issues like this before.
The parcel was reportedly unable to clear customs because the declared contents exceeded a certain value. However, no one clearly explained what needed to be done to resolve the issue. I paid around $80 for shipping, and now that the parcel is being returned, I am being asked to pay additional fees. That should not happen.
What is most frustrating is the lack of transparency and accountability. The tracking information shows the parcel routed to an England warehouse, yet when I ask for clarification, I repeatedly receive vague responses saying it is “still in transit.” With a tracking number and parcel reference, they should be able to provide a clear update or estimated timeline. Instead, I am left waiting without answers.
Customer service is difficult to reach, there is no direct phone support, and responses take 24 to 48 hours due to time differences. For a company that appears large online, the level of support and accountability has been extremely disappointing.
I do not usually leave negative reviews unless the service truly warrants it. I simply want my friend’s items returned, but based on this experience, I would not recommend ParcelMonkey. I am giving two stars only because the shipment was at least processed initially, but the overall handling has been unacceptable.
Horrible experience, it took two weeks of me uploading pictures and even videos holding my id to no avail. It was a time sensitive package of laptops but this company doesn't have a phone number. I think this is purpose of not having a phone number 😕 🤔. So, I'm writing this review to let everyone know that is is not customer service that you're receiving, its is Artificial Intelligence and its a waste of time to use this company. You may think you're saving but the headaches 😩 and messages are time consuming .

This is an update on the review I shared last month. To summarize, I sent a laptop to my parents in Hong Kong on December 12, 2025. It took a considerable amount of effort on my part (including numerous emails to the service providers) to receive any sort of "updates"—if you can even call them that—about when the package would ship and its actual location. It was only marked as "delivered" to my parents' condo building on January 5, 2026. Now, my mom has to retrieve it from the post office since my dad is unwell and in the hospital. If I had known the complications involved with this service, I would have opted for the national carrier instead, even if it meant spending more. The supposed "savings" were not worth the frustration. To make matters worse, they suggested that the delay (it was stuck in Chicago for over two weeks at a "distribution center") was due to the lithium battery in the laptop. I never claimed it was anything else, and what modern laptop doesn't have a lithium battery?
I paid £11.00 to send this package from the UK to the US (postage only, excluding taxes). For the return of the identical package—same weight, same process—I was billed $32.00. It’s the same package, same weight, same procedure, yet the return cost is excessively higher. I feel I was definitely overcharged.
I will not use this service again for sending a laptop to Hong Kong. The speed has been outrageously slow. I dropped it off at a shipping location near my home on December 12th, and now it just shows as "en route" with no updates since December 23. A representative suggested that the delay was because I shipped a laptop with a lithium battery, but I made it clear from the start that it was a laptop. What laptop doesn’t have a lithium battery? It would be helpful to receive more specific updates, as I am eager to know the whereabouts of my package and when it will finally arrive in Hong Kong. This experience has been quite disappointing and reflects poorly on the national carrier.
Whenever I seek the best deal on a package, my initial option is always the service. Their rates are straightforward and quite competitive. The only minor issue I encounter is that after receiving a quote, the price tends to change. Therefore, when providing a customer with a quote, it's wise to add a few extra dollars, just to be safe.
Are you having difficulty understanding? The screenshot I provided is very clear—I even highlighted the issue. Every time I click "Next Step," this error occurs. Furthermore, the labels I created cannot be printed, and a 500 error shows up. It seems that my account has been locked. This issue began right after I reset my password. Can't you create a test account to check this yourself? What is going on??? You're wasting our time!!!
