Review Time
This is a seed company. They should be able to get people their seeds BEFORE it is too late to start seeds! I emailed the company twice before they got back to me. And they shouldn't keep selling products that aren't in stock/available.
I would agree with the poor reviews and wished I had looked the company before ordering. Ordered March 5th and Received about 1/2 my order the first of May. Too late to start seeds! It shows that a 2nd shipment was sent in May but not into USPS system yet. Emailed them a month ago and just received an answer saying 1 of the seeds ordered were discontinued and I wasn’t charged. They didn’t address the length of time or where the other seeds are. Wasted my money and very disappointed. I would never order from them again. We had to go purchase seeds and plants To get our garden planted During the last couple of weeks.
Ordered 3 phlox plants. I've never seen a company send out such terrible plants. For the premium price they charge you would expect some decent plants but not the case. I won't purchase from them again.Update: Park's refunded the price of the phlox plants.
I agree with the many negative reviews, which I wish I had read before purchasing from this company. Park Seed's customer service is non-existent. Like many other shady businesses, they're using the Covid-19 epidemic as an excuse to not ship out products within the promised timeframe. According to their website, my order of several seed packets was supposed to be shipped within 5 days of the order date. It's been 9 days and I haven't heard from them in spite of e-mailing customer service. I got a shipment notification but when I looked into it, all they did was print a USPS mailing label and USPS has been waiting for the package for the past 3 days. Printing a USPS mailing label obviously doesn't constitute shipping. If you plan on ordering from this company, be prepared to wait a really long time to get the product and to not hear back from them in the process. If you're looking for seeds online, I suggest Amazon. I ordered backup seed packets from Amazon 2 days after ordering from Park Seed and have received them yesterday.
DON’T ORDER FROM THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY! I ordered seed over a month ago and still have not received them. I’ve emailed them several times to find out the status of my order. All I get is a generic email stating they have received my request. They NEVER get back to you! Calling is also a complete waste of time!
I have ordered from Park Seed for years and this has been the worst experience with them that I can even remember. I understand the situation our country is in has caused major issues with shipping and supplies but, but how they are handling things is completely without merit. I placed an order from Park Seed on April 10th of this year. 1 package of Red Veined Sorrel, 1 package of Atlas Carrots and 1 package of Rainbow mix beet seeds. All items per their web page was in stock when I ordered them. On April 26th I go to check on the progress of my order. When I log into my account the order is no where to be found so I send them a message through their system. Their system sent me a auto response saying they received my message and will try to respond as soon as possible. I finally get a response from them on May 4th. I am told "Thank you for contacting us here at Park Seed! We value our customers comments and questions very highly and appreciate hearing from you.I apologize for the delay. I'm showing some of your order was on backorder. Below are those items and their expected ship date. Since they have not shipped, you've not been charged, and I can cancel at your preference.Again, thank you for writing to us. If you have any further questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact us again by replying to this email thread. Thank you for gardening with Park Seed!Rumex sanguineus Red Veined Sorrel- 5/9/20Beet Rainbow Blend- 5/18/20Carrot Atlas- Now"I should have just cancelled the order. I didn't and once again I am waiting. On Wednesday May 13th I called Park Seed after no further updates or changes to the shipping of my order. I was told they had the carrot seeds in stock but were waiting for the other seeds before shipping the order. I was put on hold so that the customer service rep could speak to her supervisor about this since it had been so long since I ordered my items. She came back to the phone and said the supervisor would bump me up to priority due to my order taking a long time to ship. The next day Thursday May 14th I get a email from Park Seed saying one of my items has shipped. It included tracking info for the Sorrel Seeds. It said tracking information will update in a couple of days. As of today when I click on the tracking link to USPS all I see at USPS is the word "Pre- Shipment", i.e. it has never shipped, they have not received the package from Park Seed, but I have been charged for shipping and the items. Then today May 18th I get another two emails from Park Seeds. One says the Atlas Carrots has shipped, complete with link to USPS tracking that said USPS is currently awaiting the package I also have been charged for those seeds and their shipping. The second email from Park Seed said that my Rainbow mix beet seeds were cancelled. So from April 10th to today May 18th the only thing I have gotten from Park Seed is a giant case of frustration.
I ordered 6 packs of seeds and an indoor seed starting tray on April 28. On Thu, May 7, they sent a notice the starter tray and 1 package of seeds shipped UPS ground so that's a week. They separately shipped 1 more package of seeds via USPS on the same day (Thu, May 7). Well actually, they didn't put that 1 package of seeds in the USPS. They printed a label for that 1 package of seeds. The seeds didn't actually ship until 5 days later (Tue, 12-May). The starter tray and 1 package of seeds arrived on 14-May. Ok, fair enough. It's a crisis. BUT, what about the other 4 packages of seeds???? I received a notice on Fri, 15-May, those were shipping via USPS. Well actually, not all 4, just 3 of the 4 packages. That's almost 3 weeks to ship a package of seeds...a package of seeds!!!! But wait, the 3 packages of seeds didn't actually SHIP via USPS, Park Seed simply printed a label on Friday, 15-May. Today, 18-May, nothing has shipped. I also don't know whether my final package of seeds will ever ship or how they will ship. I've sent emails and the company is completely unresponsive.
1. No order tracking. Customer's do not have access to their order contents. 2. Customer service is non-responsive.3. Plants arrive dead4. Seeds arrive way too late for indoor germination.5. Horrible packaging6. Seeds have a poor germination rate
I wish I had read these reviews before I ordered. Seeds came 2 or 3 weeks after I ordered. Only part of it received. I have put seeds in nice pots and has been weeks and nothing came from even from one pot. I bought .99 from Home Depot and they all came in one week's time. I watsed all my money and wait time and could have bought fresh plants for the whole season as many as I wanted with the money I spent. Simple Zinnia also didn't come out. I ordered only flower seeds and not any vegetable seeds. I ordered vegetable seeds from some other site and the seeds were so good. They all came as little plants in 1 week's time. THey were squashes and Gourds and Beans. I am never going to order from park seeds in future.
