Charged me THE DAY BEFORE my billing cycle. I also canceled the day before. I didn't receive my subscription because of the cancelation, and then Patreon refused to refund me. Kept asking me to contact the creator to ask if they'd refund me. "Your situation does not meet our refund policy requirements." .. but every time I ask them to delete my account because this is ridiculous, they keep leading me on in their replies. So done. Delete my account. Cancel every subscription. I won't be using your service again. Trash.Had to file a chargeback in the end. Won the chargeback. Thanks for nothing Patreon.
I had subscribed to a creator for 20 dollars on the 30th of september, patreon then cancelled my subscription on the 3rd of october meaning i lost all benefits, i contacted the creator and he said he did not even receive the 20 dollarsi have sent an email to the support team, but i am in shock that a company as big as patreon would be willing to stoop so low as to steal a measley 20 bucksalso there costumer service responds really slow to the point where once i do get my money back i probably wont even care anymorei hope this issue can be resolved but as of right now it seems like its going to be awhile, i have hope.TLDR; patreon took my 20 dollars and ran.
Placed an unfavorable comment onto Patreon about their lack of integrity because they took monthly payments but did not provide the music service promised as per monthly payments. They quickly deleted my comment within an hour. Of course, deleting my comment reflects their ethics!
Awful awful awful, was charged twice within a few hours £180 both times. Support took 12 days to even answer and passed me off onto the creator. The creator said they would refund me one of the double payments who then blocked me before this month ended. I expect support to be equally useless this time around as well. Shouldn't be allowed to exist or especially be able to take people's money.
ridiculous subscription method, ends up charging subscribers on the day they subscribe and then again around the first of the month regardless of when they signed up. really hard to get support. impossible to get funds out if less then $25us. would never recommend, and sorry I even wasted my time going down the patreon path :(
Have charged me quadruple the monthly amount as subscriber, claiming 2 of those to be refunds - but they are negative refunds - ie charges. Logged a ticket and over 24 hours no response, no resolution. The creators I follow are not getting their deserved revenue, what a bunch of crooks !
I've been a patron on Patreon for the past three years. Every few months my apps and desktop force me to sign in again. Once I enter my credentials the system says it will send an email to verify my device, but the email never arrives. Even after multiple requests for it. I end up having to send a message to Patreon support and it takes them days to get back to me. Somehow they are able to reset things on their end and I can get back in, but having to go through this with them every few months for years is pretty frustrating.
Patreon deleted an account I was subscribed to for no reason. My money and the money sent by other patrons cannot be accessed by the creator. Customer service takes forever to get back to you (currently 11 days) and just goes around in circles. The issue is still ongoing after three weeks. They seem to be more concerned with wrongly putting the blame onto the creator, who has lost out as a result of their mistake, than rectifying the issue and explaining why they still have our money. To make it worse, they have said that the creator received the money, and that the page was removed due to a community guidelines breach; there was no breach and the creator has not been paid. I’ve never received such poor customer ‘support’ and would expect better from such a big company. I’d give 0 stars if I could. Avoid.
They sent wrong size merch , will not make it right , and the support staff GWEN is a total cu*t . Let them know I not looking for a free product I can send the wrong size back and you guys can then send the correct size , they said no . Total trash of a company DNot.Use Patreon .
"customer service" is just a bunch of bots (or maybe human id*ots) that reply by copypasting from FAQ.They changed something in payment processing (they notified users about it themselves), and paypal transactions stopped getting through. I wrote to support, and as a response got a copypaste from FAQ. I'm sure it's nothing at my end, and even verified with my bank that the transaction never got to them. PayPal being PayPal, is of course unreachable unless it involves one of the transaction in history - and the patreon one doesn't show up there.Replying to support I explained all that once again, and guess what? Got exactly the same copypaste from FAQ as a reply...
