Deleted my account without warning after a year of no problem. Claimed that some of my art went against TOS. To keep it quick and pc, the works they chose weren't that bad comparatively. The next day, they emailed me to edit a different work to fit TOS. I don't have an account. Clearly, it's a mess over there at HQ, and it reflects. I think they were just targeting me after I lowered my membership cost because all of this happened a day after I did. Never trust them.
I’m one of many content creators whose Patreon account was banned without any warning. I had €700 in my account, and I never violated any policies. They suspended me without notice and took the money.Before that, I noticed that monthly subscriptions — $20 here and there — would randomly disappear. My subscribers were also overcharged, sometimes paying $30 instead of $20. In some cases, this happened because they used an Apple device; other times, there was no clear reason.There are multiple complaints of fraud online. Absolutely terrible experience. I've subscribed to a couple lessons there. Couldn't cancel through PayPal. The Patreon link only produces a "forbidden" URL. No way to contact Patreon. Nothing but AI articles about what to try, how to change your name, how to change your address, how to move to another state, how to give up your citizenship. Anything except actual help. They're really a terrible, terrible, terrible service. Godawful website and it's a shame and disservice to the people that create content there as well as the people who try and learn from the content.
They take your money and ignore you. I paid, could not get he service they promised, was always behind a paywall. They make it difficult to contact them and if you do manage to navigate their site, they ignore you anyways. I sent them copies of my billing paypal) to prove I actually paid and they still ignored me. They lied to paypal and said they provided the service, so paypal won't give me my money back. Stay away from this company. They do not deserve your money.
I know this has a bad review but I wanna give you my experience and my one as a payer is this. I listen to a podcast thotstv it's about childrens media I've been a patriot for a few years now I've hurd new things unseen stuff and stuff you cant get on other podcast stuff. Recently there soundboard broke but because of the money from patron they got it replaced before long. So if you think it's a bad service I say give it a try you might have a different experience.
Patreon will steal your money. The creator and patreon does not take any responsibility what so ever. They stole a lot of money from me. It's fraud they refused to refund me when creators are lying about what they offer. They aren't responsible and patreon isn't responsible then who is?
One of the creators (Olivia Rose James) scammed me. For costumers who paid monthly, she said she would send out an annual care package. I asked about it and she said I hadn´t paid for the months that I had, then she ignored me when I tried to prove that I had. I contacted Patreons costumer service who then said they wouldn´t communicate with me about this issue and started ignoring me as well.
I was signing up for a podcast on The Emerald early last year to add to my professional development and somehow found I was paying for the Patreon platform. I quickly cancelled my subscription, but I still find that I am being charged $11.33 a month. I have contacted Patreon repeatedly to no avail.To date I have not used or accessed Patreon however they keep charging me.
My account was suspended on May 17 due to “suspicious activity.” I recently signed up and tried to be a creator while I was creating my page to sell roblox assets, I wanted to login into my account on my phone and found it got deactivated and pending removal. I haven't published my page yet and my account got deactivated like this is bullshit moderation
