Account suspended I get it that spam and bot users must be sorted out. But what I dont get that thisnis the data Patreon demands for unlocking:"reason, the account has been disabled until we can verify a few thingsfrom you. We will need all of the following information from you inorder to further assist in reviewing your account:Your NameYour Location (City, State, Country)Verify Payment Method (Last 4 digits of all credit cards used,PayPal email address, etc)o If you have not successfully added a payment method yet,please provide the last 4 digits of the one you would like to add.Name of your current internet provider/service". Especially this part concerns me very much:Name of your current internet provider/serviceWhat will Patreon Inc. do once I tell them my ISP is The World, Excitel Broadband, RailTel Corporation of India, Kyivstar, CenpacNet Incorporated, Rostelekom, T-Mobile, Telefónica S.A., Tele2, Mobile TeleSystems, MGTS, CompuServe, Prodigy, America Online, (AOL), Hetzner, Mobile TeleSystems, NTTChina Telecom, China Unicom, Virgin Media, Sky, ChinaNet, China Tietong, or Great Wall Broadband Network?Will they say: Ah, yo hi ISP from user Corinna Gier, real name is J. Doe, and he/she tells in his content very worrying stuff please arrest him/her because he/she does not comply with digital services act or rebels against 会信用体系 ?Not okay! Not cool!

My account was suspended on April 30

My account was suspended on April 30. I've had Patreon for years and when I tried to become a creator my account was removed for “suspicious activity” when I hadn't even finished setting it up. The only good thing is that I used another email and not my main account email because otherwise I would be more pissed off than I already am.Poor customer service, they haven't even responded to my request and we're already half way through May.

Patreon is SCAM, never use their “secure uploader”

I registered on Patreon as a creator 2 years ago. I started earning money, my account started getting popular.2 weeks ago I got an e-mail from “Robin”, trust and safety team at Patreon.He suspended my account and he asked me to upload my ID and handwritten statement from my parents and also my parent’s ID card via their “secure upload”. I said, I’ll not use this unsecure link to provide my ID, so he enabled Jumio verification for me. After the verification Robin asked for the handwritten note and parent’s ID, but I was supposed to upload it via the uploader.As I was scared, I hid the ID card number and I sent it.In the e-mail was written if I’ll not submit it until 23 April my account with the balance will be deleted.I sent it 1 week ago, I still didn’t get response. My account will be permanently banned tomorrow and I can’t withdraw my money, so I lost my account and also my money I earned there.Even they didn’t provide me(I asked for it) any privacy policy regarding the secure upload and the ID.Never use Patreon. Be aware of this platform.

I tried to pay for a patreon account…

I tried to pay for a patreon account and my payment was declined and I then recieved an email my patreon account would be deactivated for suspicious activity? Is it suspicious to try to use this service idk. I tried a different email account and different payment method, same thing that email was suspended. I really wanted to resolve this issue to support the creator on patreon so I emailed a support request where they asked me for personal information including my internet service provider? No thank you. I feel bad to not be able to support this creator but I would never attempt to support patreon again.

I cancelled my subscription

I cancelled my subscription. A week later they be took another payment. One month later another, even after telling me they had officially cancelled my subscription. Ive had no real email replies to my requests for refunds ,only the usual automated reply saying recieved your email

It’s very poor

It’s very poor. It has blocked me from a creator I was following for no reason. It blocked me from her website. I guess Patreon thinks they own the creators. Patreon sucks! Don’t use them!

Very poor service and responsibility

Very poor service and responsibility. They cancelled a membership I had paid for but refused to return money to me and say stuff luck. Pity to see all these other poor reviews as well - shows I’m not the only one having issues

The platform is well-known.When it works, it works. When it doesn't, support is not very good and you're on your own.Despite the relatively high commissions, I would have rated this with 5 stars if the support were good.This way: it is OK, but in case of problems, you're on your own.

They’ll steal your money

They’ll steal your money. I have no memberships and they charged me $9.90 anyway. I emailed to try to get them to delete my account because there isn’t a straightforward way to do it. No reply at all but still taking my money. I used to get mad when people would steal things from Patreon and upload on YouTube for free but now I see why.. I hope this company goes bankrupt

Absolutely shocking

Absolutely shocking. I paid for a higher tier which was £11.99 and when it cleared it says I’m a free member even though the money has been taken out of my account and trying to charge me again for a paid membership which I already paid. There customer service is no where to be seen so I will be recalling the money back by through my bank
