They just block my account out of the blue without any warning, all my content, list of fans contact are gone. Submit an appeal but it is useless, they keep saying use the form to appeal but did not response to my appeal at all.
If you're a creator, get your products/services off this site ASAP. Like others, account has been banned and nothing from Patreons customer service team.I cannot purchase anything or work with any creators. You should not put all of your eggs in one basket. There are lots of options, you can have membership only videos on YouTube and you can still sell your videos course on YouTube with 3 different tiers. Also, you get paid from YouTube. You should really build your on website and have your own online shop. Building a online shop is easy. Weebly is easy enough to use. You can link your YouTube videos and have your customers play them on your website. Sell on other platforms as well as selling on your own online shop, you can also sell digital products on etsy.It's frustrating as I'm not able to purchase anything on Patreon. If you're a seller on that Patreon and not selling products on other platforms, your going lose out on sales because you are tied to one place.Just take a look at all of the 1 star reviews recently... Do you want to put your customers through that kind of service?
I've read what other reviewers have said. In my case, I just created an account as member -or "fan" as how they call it- (not creator) and received a mail stating my account was suspended and pending deletion before even receiving the mail verification mail... Contacting support only to get requested my credit card info, then they silently stop contact never to reply to my messages.If this is how my relationship with this business is going to start, I don't want to go further, so I went to other ways to support the creators I follow.Browsing internet, seems it's a recurring problem.Edit: They finally reverted the account as just "fan" and allowed participation, although support kept insisting I sent them ID and stuff, I was firm I wasn't doing business.
Shocking customer service. I had a technical issue and they took over a week to respond, and when they finally did respond they didn’t solve the problem. Other companies respond within 24hrs. Obviously Patreon don’t care about their customers. SERIOUSLY UNIMPRESSED.
Review:My account was suspended on May 2 due to “suspicious activity.”I submitted all the requested information immediately, and after over a week of no response, it was finally reviewed and restored. I received an email confirming that my account was “in good standing.”However, I just received another suspension email saying that my account is again at risk of deletion. This is extremely confusing and frustrating. AWFUL customer service. some of the worst i have ever seen. I made an account and tried to support emulation station and they immediately deactivated the account. so i made another and again deactivated, when i went to their customer support they didnt respond at all. hope to god you dont have to deal with them cause its that bad.
I wasn’t even trying to cancel my membership. I was being charged with no access to the creator’s content. I provided them with email addresses, vendor charge transaction numbers, screenshots of the charges and still, “I’m so sorry but I can’t find that information and I can cancel your membership. But have a nice day.”They are the absolute worst.
