excess charges and lack of customer support

Hi,I was sponsoring a creator as a patron through Patreon. However one day I noticed that Patreon charged me twice for the same membership. I wrote a complaint to customer support (ticket ID: #1000473) but I haven't heard from them yet. Therefore I cancelled my membership. I wouldn't recommend this platform to anyone. It is unreliable and doesn't have good customer service. Best

Charging 8% fees + 1% transfer?!For what?! And from whom- small creators?! Are you out of your mind?!And ofcourse I had to realise it after spending half an hour setting my account.

My money is "stuck"

I am a creator and apparently, my money has been "Stuck" between Patreon and Paypal. After waiting for a few months and talking to probably 5 different customer representatives... I am done. My patient has limits and not surprised about all the other 1 star reviews. Give me back my money or I will take it to court

Patreon does not value customer support

Edit: Patreon claims that customer service is their priority, but for every communication channel there is a different option. The Chat bot, Facebook page and Patreon website all have different bad advices. Finally, Trustpilot gives a good answers. Thanks for the answer finally after having publicly shamed you on Trustpilot.No customer support, my membership is active according to my profile but inactive with a blocked payment according to the creator's page. Useless

It has been nearly a week now and the refund still has not appeared in my bank account, even though I can see the creator issued the refund. There is no way to contact customer support except by email and my emails only receive useless auto responses.

~My Experience Using PATREON.com until My Account was CLOSED~

Member since November 2018,following 2-5 content creators with $ 1- $ 60 per month (not much, but I didn't find that $ 1- $ 60 could cause Patreon account to be closed), payments are always smooth. Never ask for a refund through the card provider bank, never distribute content obtained from the creators, never post messages and comment with bad/dirty words, and never ask for other people's personal information/data.Doing a credit card replacement just because the old card has expired 12/2019.Every month the payments went smoothly, I received content from the creators well, and did not experience any problems/difficulties using Patreon. But today Oct 28, 10:00 PM (6 hours ago)I got an emailSubject: Notification of Patreon Account Pending RemovalHello there,This is a note to alert you that your Patreon account has been suspended and is pending removal for suspicious activity. If you believe this action was taken in error, please reach out to us.Best,Patreon Trust & SafetyI have submitted a question via "Submit a request" (986090). After getting replies and answering questions such as Name, Address, the last 4 digits of the payment method, and the type of ISP/Internet Services Provider, I get a reply that contains"We are contacting you in regards to your account on Patreon. After a thorough review of activity on your account, we've decided to part ways and close your account." and "Additionally, we are unable to comment on the specific details regarding our account removal process."THANK YOU PATREON.com FOR THE BEST EXPERIENCE 😂😂LET'S MOVE TO THE ANOTHER SITES ~~

Scam site

Scam site. I pledged to a creator but the creator didn't give me anything for 2 months. The creator also didn't reply any of my messages. I told my condition to Patreon and asked for refund but they told me to contact the creator directly for refund. How is that supposed to work if the creator didn't even reply my messages?
