On 10/18/2020 my son's account was charged for a Patreon membership, but he doesn't have a membership let alone a subscription with Patreon. He doesn't have or ever had any membership with this company and I want Patreon to stop with auto debit on his account and remove all his data from the records.
Patreon blocked my Creator account after one week of work without any explanations and stole $165 that I earned from my patrons. Support does not answer my request (977954), they do not return my money, they do not return my content, which I also asked for. The conclusion is obvious - PATREON IS A SCAM. If they don't like something about your account, you will be blocked and your money will be stolen. I am going to tell about my experience everywhere I can to make people know. If you care about your content and your money, don't use this awful scam service.
Scammers sitting in the US with no (Literally no) customer support. Despite cancelling my account, it has still charged me. Bunch of scummy fraudsters. I would not recommend anyone ( I mean ANYONE) to support if they are linked with patreon. I've sent email and not received any answer and its been 4 days now.
I sent a note request and got ticket ID 975226. However, this was my 3rd attempt, the original ticket I raised was nearly a week ago (13th Oct). Please Patreon, resolve my call! I’m new to this community and it’s not a good start to say the least.
Have a subscription - want to cancel it...but need to log into patreon website to do this. Go to log in and need to authenticate email - try for over an hour but they just wont send the email to do so - customer support none existant. Go though all options to see why but the only reason they can give is 'it maybe delayed?' Huge Scam website doing this on purpose to block customers cancelling. Avoid
Patreon makes nothing itself, it just makes creators sign up and encourage them to take away content from the users and put it behind a paywall forcing users to pay out of "Fear Of Missing Out" and leeching off the creators.And let's not talk about the slow and useless User Interface and layout.
I paid for a membership and when the so-called "creator" did not deliver it, it was IMPOSSIBLE to get a response, I'm talking about months just to get an automatic reply, no help, no refund, no responsibility from patreon whatsoever. I reported it to patreon MULTIPLE times, and each time the patreon team said "we are looking into it." Well, they never did, they sent me endless emails, NO action, no responsibility. Total scam. STAY AWAY!
Customer service is nonexistent. I tried to contact their support team many times but I only got a bot reply. I paid 8 usd for monthly access to a patreon but got absolutely nothing after I cancelled the auto-renew function. I can't view the content anymore and nobody at patreon is helping. Beware of patreon, they will steal your money and ignore you.
The Patreon app doesn't work all that well. At least the last few days it hasn't. I don't know if it has to do with the full moon, Mars, or whatever, but it's extremely frustrating! With that being said, I love following and pledging to Steven T Shippy Paranormal! I have met some amazing new friends on this website and Steve himself is extremely dedicated to his fans and helping people! If your a paranormal junkie like I am, make sure you become part of his page. During these times it is nice to have a place other than fb to speak to others with a common interests!
