I used Payback after I fell victim to an investment scam and lost a substantial amount of money. They guided me through the processes with professionalism and was successful in returning a couple of my bank wires. They are now tackling the cryptocurrency recovery at all angles including involving local law enforcement. Payback-ltd has been very transparent and diligent about the steps in the recovery. I would recommend them.
Been with payback for 4 years. Not a dime gotten back. 3 years of me chasing them about. Now I am not getting any reply from them despite several attempt from me to reach out to their temporary domain while it was sized. Now no mails get answered. I trying reaching them through there web system for contact too. 3 months of radio silence. Very unsatisfactory.
I was involved in a crypto scam. Just before writing this review I read a headline from another reviewer: "Don't use if you are involved in a crypto scam".I reached out to Payback after I was scammed out of some funds, a large sum to me. I have to say they did a lot of work trying to contact the regulating agencies on my behalf, from about 2 years. Their original contract states, in the last paragraph, that legal action is available at additional cost. In the initial interview the supervisor/salesman implied that legal help might be an option, but after about 2 years they said that there was nothing more to do and that my case had run out of options. My regular contact once told me when I became frustrated with the process of contacting the regulatory agencies and the involved banks involved, that "legal actions were very expensive".Summary: without any legal leverage or action, my case was like trying to ask the banks to 'Please returnmy money'. My scam involved overseas, out of the US operatives. Payback should have told me more about my chances of funds recovery, which is very poor.Don't waste your money if your scam is similar to mine.
I was scammed out of a very large amount of money from an online scam. I was contacted by Payback, Ltd. after an online inquiry. They assured me that they were not just another company scamming innocent, vulnerable people. Three weeks ago I see their website has been seized by the FBI and I have sent several emails to the contact that I was in communication with for over a year. The emails came back 'Failure/Undeliverable' I paid Payback, Ltd. a large 'upfront' fee in US Dollars which I have contacted Federal Authorities to recover. It is sad that humanity is so cruel to each other. The fact that they are enthusiastically helping steal hard earned money from innocent people is pure EVIL!
