Disappointing Event Experience

I attended an event that was advertised for everyone, featuring two well-known speakers. The event was supposed to start at 6:30, but attendees were rushed in. There were six speakers, and one in particular pressured attendees to donate publicly, which goes against the principle of anonymous donations. The main speakers did not appear until three hours later. The tickets were pricey, people were exhausted, it was a workday, and the organization was poorly managed and misleading. It felt like a scam. Many in the audience, including myself, left when the speaker began shaming people for donations. It was a terrible experience. It's important to research the organization, as only 60% of the donations actually support a cause. One star seems overly generous.

Frustrating Experience

I have reached out multiple times over the years and tried again this January. I called numerous times, but nothing has changed. Another year is passing, and the organization seems uninterested in those who dedicate their time and effort to raise funds for them.
