Miles was absolutely amazing! He talked me through getting into my car on the phone when my key wasn’t working. Even when he realised it wasn’t the key that had broken (the battery was dead) he was really helpful with instructions on what to do next. I will definitely use their service if I ever do have an issue with my key!
The contact I spoke with at phoenix car keys was transparent with costs and managed to arrange a locksmith same day. Took a deposit and paid the remainder to the locksmith. 10/10 for the service from Harrison, he couldn't fix the issue the same day but was prompt in obtaining the part and I was back on the road in a matter of days. Price overall was a good price compared to some other competitors. Would definitely recommend 👌

My ignition barrel went on my VW golf, meaning I couldn’t turn the key past the first click to start the ignition. Luckily it happened on my drive. I had just got off the phone to VW after being quoted £308 for the part and a local mobile mechanic saying 2/3 hours Labour. I see a sponsored advert for phoenix - clicked it and called, had to confirm that they were nationwide as I didn’t even look into the company. Spoke to a very friendly lady who knew exactly the problem. She came back with a quote which was considerably better than I would have expected. Said they could have someone there in 24 hours, just needed to pay x amount upfront and it will be booked. Against my every nature, I paid the deposit, came off the phone and suddenly thought, that seemed a bit too good to be true! What have I done! Looked at some of the reviews and saw mostly positive but then a selection of scammer type reviews! In the end I just thought, it will be what it is. Evening before they were due - I got a call from Loui, he confirmed the address and said he was setting off early etc and the rough time he would be here. I even asked him - you know the problem right, done it before? He was like - yes common fault etc. He turned up around the time he said. I again clarified that it was a new ignition unit going in - he confirmed. I went back out - what seemed like half an hour later and the key was working - he said he had changed the unit and held up my old one, that he just needed to put the car back together - he also managed to retain the use of my original key, when i was expecting, especially given the price and not going through VW, to now have a separate key for ignition. Some of the negative reviews were problems after - with remote locking etc. So I made sure to start the car - lock it - unlock etc. All fine, had a steering wheel light on the dash but loui explained that’s because he had to unplug something and will go off when the car next runs a check. I paid him - he left and said phoenix will send the invoice. The process seemed so smooth I was still waiting for the catch. I will admit - I did think, that ‘old’ ignition unit looked a bit clean - and how have I still got my original key. I bet a pin just needed moving or something. The lock feels smooth and brand new - if I am honest, even if it is the old unit fixed! I couldn’t care. The work comes with warranty and it was so faultless and as quoted that it was great value either way! I am not really one for reviews - but credit where credit it due with these guys. Not a service I wish to need often however, they will be my first call should I need in the future and will have no problem recommending.
I am a carer and use my car most days for work, my car wouldn't turn on as the key wouldn't turn , I rang up and everything was explained thoroughly, what was wrong, how it would be fixed and a break down od the price , Harrison came out a few hours later that day and showed me exactly what was wrong and what he was replacing. Phoenix from start to finish were fantastic. After someone tried to steal my car Phoenix came out within a say fixed the ignition barrel and went that extra mile to fix the immolbilser box which they broke. I would highly recommend Phoenix to anyone who needs a key service for their vehicle. Would definitely use again.
