Review Time
After ringing around many Locksmiths, to fix my locked/siezed Car Key ignition to my Vauxhall Zafira!! This company seemed very enthusiastic & pretty confident they could sort my issue, with the reassurance of 12months warranty. Was slightly concerned about having to do a £100 deposit when booking..,nervous incase a scam.., but followed through & so glad I did as engineer came out next day, on a Sunday & fixed my problem! When other companies were saying, could take up2 10-15days to order parts. Pheonix car keys has parts already stocked, So is perfect for those emergencies!!
My key fob stopped working in my dodge ram which was a nightmare as my other key wasn’t with me. I phoned miles and rather than just taking my money he advised me what to try. I wasn’t convinced but it worked 1st time! Can’t thank him enough! If I could give him more than 5 Stars I would! I’m now going to get a replacement key from him so this doesn’t cause me another cardiac arrest.
What a lovely guy and a great service. I rang in a panic this morning, he talked me through the issues and some solutions - and we found one. He then sent me a message to check all was ok and wish me well. And he didn’t charge a penny. Clearly one of the good guys and will go back to him next time there’s an issue, would be more than happy to pay if needed!
From the moment we contacted the company we had nothing but great service. The whole process was smooth sailing. We spoke to someone on Tuesday morning and Harrison contacted us through out the day informing of an arrival time. Due to us needing the car fixed urgently, he arrived at 9pm an got the job done. Really nice bloke. So happy with the service. Thanks again!
Absolutely scam of a company. STAY WELL AWAY IF YOU LIKE YOUR CAR WORKING. Had them come out to make me a new key. When he arrived locksmith was extremely rude demanding I give him £50 and he’s going to go without making the key. Finally convinced him to make me a key which when I spoke on the phone to one of the managers on shift who promised they could do it key all fine. Locksmith admitted over text he did not sync the modules after I even told him on job site to do. I have a witness for this. Bear in mind I have a ‘12 month warranty’ on the key.. after 2 days the modules fall so badly out of sync the car will not start at all. Tried to get in contact to resolve. Told I will be contacted the next day. Surprise no messages and since then every message I have sent has been read and ignored. States in their own terms and conditions that they will fix any problems or give refunds. They do not. Please don’t waste your money on this rude scam of a company… 9 days since I made my first complaint about the key. No updates no reply’s. Nothing. The only response I get is to a review!! Absolutely bs company. Would not accept they was wrong at all. Had a professional locksmith come out and confirm it was the modules out of sync due to the old key!!!! There for a sync and new key would of fixed everything. But they didn’t sync and then wouldn’t rectify it!!! Do not use!!!! Also Daniel didn’t offer to stand down. He demanded I paid a extra £50 ontop of the £92 deposit and he wanted to leave me with nothing so that’s professional way of dealing with people? Promising you can do the work and when turning up demanding extra fees which was never mentioned??? That’s called bullying. When speaking to the manager over the phone he was certain they could fix it… just want to add aswell this company will lie though there teeth. Both keys was not working. The original key was broken confirmed by your locksmith… this company will lie and lie. They offfer a warranty but take 9 days to even response to your complaints.
Rang for quotes for a spare key for my evoque, pheonix were comfortably the best price I got quoted, there service has been very professional and they’re very responsive, contacting them through what’s app. I paid the deposit and was imminently contacted by their locksmith Andy who booked me in at a time that was convenient for me, he arrived on time, was very professional and very good at his job, I would 1000% recommend this company if anyone is looking for a new car key/keys wether that’s because you’ve lost yours or need a spare, I will be a returning customer for the future now, 6 months warranty on the key too which is great, many thanks to pheonix and to Andy!
Just used this service and I’d say only use if you want the worst customer service and you would like to be ripped off. My job was booked for 8am due to me having work at 11.30. I had to wait until 10.06 for the locksmith to come due to his van breaking down. I was told the job was £245+VAT but did not know how much the VAT was until the last minute. I called to just let them know how exactly I’ll be paying, not having an issue with the VAT but just trying to understand where I’m dyslexic. I was verbally attacked not even having the opportunity to reply. I reassured the person on the phone I had no issue with paying but his reply was “The driver will remove the ignition barrel”. I even pleaded that we spoke to me with the same respect I was giving him but could not even finish me sentence. I ended up clearing the balance and being late for work. I paid £294. I’d advice anyone to buy the part you want next time , if to do with ignition barrel it’s around £40-90 on EBay depending on car, then paying a locksmith labour, which would not even touch the sides of what I paid. The actual job was no longer than 30mins. I had patience and understood the reason why the driver was late, but when I wanted to enquire about the VAT I was shut down and told the driver would dismantle my ignition barrel. I have the proof for everything also.
Initially my steering wheel was locked and I couldn’t get my car to start after searching and being quoted ridiculous amounts by other companies and even questioning some of the integrity towards pricing. Pheonox were able to give me a quote on the spot and arrived next day afternoon. Although there was no indication of when arrival was going to be (just late afternoon) maybe they could give rough time in future, in the end arrival was around 18:20PM. Other than that the chap came and fixed the ignition barrel and new key was given. And was given 12 month warranty on the part which was good. Would definitely recommend especially if you need urgent repair. Thank you again.
