Review Time
UPDATE: Operations Director Shez reached out to me after my initially negative review. He better explained the situation regarding the phone battery life and offered me what I consider to be a much fairer price for my phone. I was initially quoted £220 for my iPhone 12 Pro in ‘good’ condition. Once Phone box received my phone, the price offered dropped to £105 based on apparent scratches to the screen and housing and the fact that the battery had been charged more than 500 times! The phone was in excellent condition, I examined it carefully before I sent it off, there were no scratches to the screen or housing and the battery was at 84% of new capacity. I have always protected the phone with a case and glass screen protector. When I rejected the offer of £105 I then received a call from Kieran who waffled on about the same model of phone being available on ebay for £87 then said he could ’absorb’ the cost of the (non existent) scratches before making me an offer of £150.
Easy process to send the phone, price on site was considerably higher than competitors, you get knocked down through 'faults' which is to be expected, but they could cut out the negotiating a price via a call by just offering a fair price originally. Once agreed payment was made same day which is great.
Started off great, got the free post envelope really quickly, sent phone back and was advised of a few issues (including a dint in the casing which I was expecting a revised quote due to this). However, the revised quote was nearly 1/3 of original quote (much higher reduction than elsewhere but the initial quote was also higher than other trade in websites) it does appear that this was a mistake and should have been approx 1/2 instead.I declined the initial offer and had a call from an agent who made a slightly higher offer, I chose to decline and request the payment details to send the phone back as it clearly stated a £10 return fee. The details were not sent to me and I was concerned that the initial quote would be counted as accepted (following 14 days). After leaving a negative review, I was contacted by Shez (Director) immediately the next day to resolve, unfortunately I wasn’t able to take the calls so we had to communicate over WhatsApp. These issue got resolved quickly and fairly, and was only delayed by my own availability.I would recommend you check their website to see if you are happy with the lowest offer before sending off as it does quite clearly state the criteria they accept.
