Review Time
I had bought my iphone 14 plus from giffgaff brand new and was selling to phone box. Apparently it was a german spec phone. They generally don't take it but they can give me a lower price ofcourse. Got 1/3rd lower price than the quote for the excellent phone.
Absolutely shocking service sent them my phone to which they tried reducing the price by £370. I refused and asked for phone to be sent back to them have it left on my front doorstep which had been stolen. About 2 months on from this false promises a lies about them resolving it to nothing got done they took no liability for their actions compensation or duty of care to a customer. Ignored for weeks on end. Would highly recommend not using them. I was left with no phone or money 🙃
Had a few initial teething issues, plus an oversight on my behalf, but these were swiftly rectified! Rob went above and beyond, not only to ensure I received the best price for my phone but to guarantee same day payment as well! He is an absolute diamond and an asset to the company
Sent my iPhone 14 and received an email detailing some issues with my phone. I spoke to Nicola head of customer experience who fully explained reasons for the issues raised and also gave some very helpful tips for the future. Much appreciated time and service provided thank you again
After initial shock at the reduced value £301 to £100 I had an excellent conversation with Nicola who took time to explain the faults on the phone which we totally unaware of and she increased the offer significantly and we went ahead with iPhone sale
Offered £370 for my phone - which has had screen protectors and a hard case all its life. I photographed the phone from all angles before i sent it - no marks whatsoever. the reduced my offer to £180 saying it was scratched. Rubbish. They did revise my offer but nowhere near good enough. looks like this is the way this company operates, given the other reviews on here. Dont be fooled by the opening offer folks.
Poor experience. will not be using this company again . Sent my iphone 14 plus which was in immaculate condition . Then received an email claiming to have faults with phone i.e light scratches around phone, over 500 battery charges , ambient light sensor fault . This was all news to me . Initial offer was greatly reduced . They did come back with 2 further offers which was way below the initial agreed price . Will take my business elsewhere in the future .
Sent my iphone 14 as they advertised paying £300. Got an email at 12:15 saying they received it and will be inspecting it. At 12:19 (only 4min of testing?) got a revised offer of £130. After speaking with Fazeela she managed to price match another retailer at £265.
