Time wasting

I've been part of the panel for around five years, and while my experience with them started off rewarding, fun, and reliable, the last two years have been awful.Before a recent update to the panel, I've tried taking countless surveys when receiving them via email or app, and 90% of the time—if not, 100%—I would start the surveys and answer a few questions before it ends with a "you're not qualified" page. Week after week I would attempt to do just one survey, but I had no luck at all. Also, I would like to add the company offers product testing as one of the benefits of the panel, but I hadn't received and reviewed a single product from them for the past two and a half years, regardless of requesting it as a survey question selection on multiple surveys. Lastly, surveys used to pay out 300 points, which equates to $3.00, but the last survey I've taken rewarded a dollar; I've researched why this is and found out that surveys started paying a dollar on all surveys. I took a break and have returned to the panel one last time after seeing its platform had been updated. While the platform looks neat and tidy with some improvements on layout, organization, and optimization, I've also noticed that surveys come with a guaranteed reward balance, and some read as 300 points. So over the past two weeks, I gave it another shot. I've taken two surveys so far, and both upon completion—regardless of answering everything truthfully and timely—said in the end that "I did not qualify—try another survey." Very frustrating. Every other survey—at least twenty of them so far—that I've been trying to work on these past two weeks keep saying "I do not qualify" and are removed from my dashboard. I'm not sure anymore; I feel like the platform and panel still struggle to offer opportunities for their survey takers. Even when they do, it's like a slap to the face each time when one sits on the computer and goes through a fifteen to twenty minute questionnaire with honest commitment—just to receive nothing in return.

Very disappointed at the new update change.

Pinecone Research was my favorite survey site. All of the surveys I got were 300 points. Barely got disqualified. But the new update and change, I am very much sad and disappointed. First of all the surveys are coming at very odd times, the moment you get the email if I don't click on it immediately, I never qualify. The points values have changed also. Its 50 points or 75 points only one of them was 300 point. Now its disqualifying while in the middle of the survey saying we have reached enough people. Then why the survey started in the first place. I was able to get gift cards to buy small things for my kids but now I am loosing hope on this site as well. With the current pace I don't expect to qualify to test any products with pinecone research anymore. Its Sad. I just don't know what happened. Please go back to the same of setup.

Pinecone Is Not Worth The Trouble

I've been doing surveys with Pinecone for nearly two decades. They made extensive changes in the last month and they've become not worth the trouble. They've changed the payout threshold to 1000 points for starters. Good luck even completing one survey, let alone enough to accumulate 1000 points. They are also sending me a flood of surveys and when I click on them I'm told half the time the survey has already closed, and the other half I'm told my profile doesn't qualify me for the survey. I can literally click on an email link two minutes after it shows up in my inbox and it's already closed?I have not completed a single survey since they made these changes, yet my in box is flooded with their emails. I've responded to every email and it's been a huge waste of my time.Maybe it's because I'm no longer a 40something and am now a 60something? My opinions no longer matter? How about just telling me outright Pinecone instead of wasting my time?

Pinecone is going downhill

Pinecone Research has always been kind of hit or miss for me over the past eight years or so. They weren’t sending survey invitations very often, just a few times annually and that was it. They started to send me more this year and then changed the format of their website. So now I’m getting bombarded with offers for surveys, but almost every time I click, they tell me that I’m not eligible to participate, or the survey is closed.I have managed to get through a few surveys this month and went to cash out, but to my surprise, Paypal is no longer an option to redeem rewards. I asked on one of their chats if I could do a bank transfer, and that was not possible either based on the vendor. I’m assuming that they mean Pinecone is the survey vendor because there is another company that manages the payouts…it’s called Tremendous.com. I am very unhappy about being unable to use my rewards the way I’d like. I did choose a gift card, but that is not something I really wanted to do. So I’m not going to give Pinecone surveys any priority in my life.

New Format is Terrible

This used to be a reliable site for surveys. I agree with the many reviews that the new format is terrible. I have completed surveys only to be disqualified at that point. Not eligible for the many surveys offered.

Clear cache after every survey, not doing it. Bye.

After finding out that I needed to clear cache to do Pinecone Research surveys, I finally was able to do one. Then, the next one I clicked on wasn't working. So it seems that after every survey, you need to clear your cache. Not doing that. Goodbye Pinecone, it was nice until your recent changes.

Update has destroyed A Once Great Site

I have been a member for years and recommended them to many others but now with their new improved website it is a complete waste of time. You can spend hours trying to complete surveys to not get a single one. If you do get one, you do not get the the 3$ you used to get if you are lucky you will get 1$. Then there is the hassle of trying to redeem your points. It used to be very easy. I have been waiting a week trying to cash out what I had earned before the update. I have had to email multiple times and received all kinds of excuses. I still have not gotten it. In short, they have destroyed a wonderful and trustworthy site. It is now a glitchy, hoop filled waste of time. Asking you the same questions over and over then after spending 20 minutes or more gathering all kinds of information they say you do not qualify and you get asked to try another. I have tried multiple times on different days with the same result. What a shame that someone has destroyed what was a great online survey website. Do not waste your time here anymore.

Used to be a great site.

I used to love this site but now it's horrible. They updated it and although it sends me plenty of surveys I never qualify. What's worse is I had 40 bucks in my account but now there's no Paypal just gift cards. I couldn't even cash all of it out. After over eight years I will be deleting my account.

No problems until website was changed

I've never had problems doing surveys, although they were few and far between. However, with the new and "improved" Pinecone website, I have not been able to complete any surveys. I get many survey offers each day and when I click on them I either get a response that I "don't meet the criteria" or "the survey is already full", even when I click on the survey link within a minute or two. I'm unsubscribing since I no longer consider Pinecone a legitimate survey site.

Don't waste your time points expire before you can redeem them!

Don't waste your time. They award you points but they are so far in-between that your points expire before you actually collect enough to redeem them. Had up to 800 points this last year unfortunately you have to have 1000 or ten dollars worth to redeem. Great business strategy though get enough customers to spread out the surveys and you never actually have to pay anyone!!!
