Review Time
Pick up and delivery of a dresser went smoothly with good communication. They ran ahead of time on drop off which suited me. Couple of lovely guys. However, paint was scraped off the dresser, it had grubby finger marks all over it and the shelves had come loose- didn't seem that a whole lot of care had been taken over it. Not sure I'd use them with a more precious piece of furniture...
Overall a poor service.I have given the 2nd star as the item did get delivered but the journey was rough and totally avoidable with better customer service and communication.I arranged for an item to be picked up and delivered a couple days later some distance away. Originally arranged a couple weeks in advance and shortly after arranging I added a second item. Invoice immediately paid for the first item and likewise for the second item the next day. I spoke to customer services a number of times during the process, received receipts for both payments and even emailed to get absolute clarification everything was in order and all payments had been received, which was acknowledged. After making all my arrangements for the day of delivery for somebody to be at the other end to accept the ever changing time of expected delivery, to my horror late the night before received emails and texts saying delivery postponed due to non payment. As I could not contact anyone as office closed, I had an extremely stressful night. I sent emails which were responded to in the morning and told it was an error and items would still be delivered. As I was travelling I asked on 3 separate emails for someone to call me that morning to clarify what had happened but no calls were received. When I was able to call in myself later in the morning a lady just kept talking over me saying there systems did not see payments. No apology given or ownership of errors. I tried to register a complaint but again ignored.I would not recommend them or use them again.
It was easy to book the courier to transport a cabinet, with a very competitive quote. It was efficiently collected next day from the dispatch address and delivered to me today by 2 very efficient couriers who put it in the position I wanted in my house. Perfectly done with no damage and very prompt collection and delivery. I am very pleased with the whole experience.
