Their customer service rely on AI so heavily that I wish you good luck reaching an actual human beings there, if you have a problem.24 hours after sending the money from my bank I didn't see the money received on the Prosper app. I contacted Prosper and kept receiving AI generated generic answers that didn't answer where my money was. It took 3 hours of chasing for them to actually have a human being looking into it.So if you consider opening an account with them, think about it: If you have any issue, let's say you open your Prosper App and your money is gone, vanished, or any other serious issue, will you be fine waiting around for 3 hours while panicking until they finally send someone to look into it ?That is what happen when a bank invest so heavily in AI and so little in actual human beings. The quality of customer service goes down.I will personally invest my money elsewhere based on that first hand experience.
I'm a big fan of the app, visually and performance is top notch. The documents are a bit odd, probably due to the bondsmith system used in the background. It does have a wide range of funds with offers, ideal for low cost investing. The only caveat I have is that the whole marketing approach was around being fee-free. They have mentioned a few times in the app that this was going to change if I didn't top up more money by x date. Not sure when fee's will come, but hopefully it doesn't make it more expensive than trading 212.
Incompetent.I've had a savings account with them for 6 months. Logged on today, and it's completely gone along with my money, with no customer service available. I've reinstalled the app, still nothing. Never had anything like this happen with any other savings account
