I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Pulse Light Clinic, not only because of the outcome of my fractional CO₂ laser treatment, but also due to the clinic’s disorganised system, poor communication, and unprofessional conduct throughout my care.From the very first appointment, the process was confusing and inconsistent. One receptionist insisted that my pre-treatment medication cream had already been posted to my home, while another receptionist later told me I had to collect it from their Bank branch. I was then informed that I needed to use the cream for two weeks before booking a patch test. Shortly after, I was told again that the clinic already had the cream and could pass it to me directly. This lack of clarity and coordination was concerning from the start.During my second visit, the practitioner I saw for the patch test was rude and impatient. He did not take the time to properly explain how to use the cream, what to expect, or what precautions I should take. He showed no willingness to answer my questions and left immediately after performing the test.When I later attended for the actual laser treatment, I was seen by a different practitioner. She did not check or review my patch test results before starting the procedure. After applying numbing cream, she began the laser treatment, but it was extremely aggressive and intensely painful, despite the anaesthetic. My face became completely red immediately afterwards. I also noticed that she repeatedly increased the laser voltage, especially on my cheeks.After the procedure, I was given two small boxes of cream and instructed to use them morning and night for two weeks, then switch to La Roche-Posay products, mix with Obagi Nu-Derm, strictly avoid sunlight, and always use sunscreen. I followed all of these instructions very carefully, stayed indoors as much as possible, and was extremely cautious with sun exposure.Despite this, more than three weeks later, my skin has not healed properly. The redness has persisted, and I have now developed visible brown and grey pigmentation, which is extremely distressing. After doing extensive research, I now understand that my skin appears to have been injured due to overly aggressive laser settings, particularly given my skin type.This experience has had a serious impact on my confidence and mental well-being. I chose this clinic because I was told they were experienced with Asian / brown skin, but my experience suggests a lack of appropriate caution, continuity of care, and professional responsibility.I strongly urge anyone — especially those with darker or sensitive skin types — to be extremely careful before undergoing aggressive laser treatments at this clinic.
I have done laser hair removal for 10 years now and I can’t count the number of times I have been burned then I recently discovered pulselight it been a life saver they are the best when I tell u my results are amazing and this only my second time and I haven’t had a single burn 🔥. Also when I tell ask for Lania she knows her stuff the lady is a pro and she listens to ur concerns and make sure u are well taken care off. Even the first session I had the lady was also great I have forgotten her name. Am a deep dark skin woman it’s hard to find someone who understands how to do laser hair removal on our skin type. And yes they bit more expensive than ur average place but worth every penny. And guess what they are not ur average place. And for my trans girls if u want that face smooth just call pulselight clinic.
I had laser MD with Ella. She is the best skin therapist. She did all my skin work with care. She is very kind and caring. I will always do my skin work with Ella. If I could I would give her a thousand stars. Ella you are the best and you are my only choice :) ❤️
I’ve had a wonderful experience at Pulse Light Clinic. I’m already seeing amazing results, and the staff are always so lovely, professional, and friendly, which makes every visit even better. I’m really looking forward to continuing my laser journey with them.
Behie is genuinely fantastic. The treatment Behie provided has honestly been the best experience by far. She is incredibly knowledgeable and clearly cares about her clients. Behie is also really lovely and great to chat to. I saw great results even after my first session which was amazing! I am so glad I found her and wouldn’t go anywhere else!

UPDATE: Pulse Light Clinic reached out to me after this review was posted and offered me 3 free sessions. I spoke to customer service on the phone the day before and explained the whole situation and they were not very helpful - it was only after I posted a review that they offered this. They also asked me to take down the review but I told them I would only update it, as I thought that was fair. Updating to 3 stars as I appreciate their gesture of goodwill.____________________________I've been going to Pulse Light Clinic for 3 years to remove 4 tattoos, and wanted to wait to post a fair review as I thought it could turn around given the other reviews.For the initial consultation of the tattoos, the practitioners vastly underestimated the sessions I would need. They gave me great offers upfront, and told me if I needed more sessions, they'd extend at the same rate. In reality, once I finished the initial packages, they kept pushing me to purchase one-off or small packages at a much higher price and refused to offer the same rate I was getting. They kept saying I'd just need a few more each time, but then I ended up needing more after that so I'd have to buy more again. I feel completely cheated by the way the past 3 years have progressed.To give more detail: They told me Tattoo A and B would need 4 sessions, and Tattoo C and D would need 8. In the end, Tattoo A had 7 and has only a faint mark. Tattoo B had 10 and is light but still very visible. Tattoo C and D will need a total of 12-15 sessions they say (they are still fairly dark although faded).To get additional sessions, they have given me prices more than double what it would have been if I had initially bought the right number of sessions (based on their current website price).In addition, I was told to reach out to customer service to ask to get new sessions at the same rate of my package. The customer service rep was not responsive to the helpline, I tried multiple times throughout the day, and I also was hung up on when I asked when they would be able to get back to me. I'm honestly so disappointed by this, after 3 years of using this clinic.
I booked a course of endermologie facial treatments at the Pulse light clinic in Marylebone. Sandy, who was the practitioner and performed the treatment was amazing. She was really good, knowledgeable and made the whole process easy. She explained everything she was doing really well, and had a lovely manner. I would definitely recommend booking with Sandy for any treatment! Outcomes are great too!!!
