Review Time
We ordered a custom build desktop PC. It took a little longer than anticipated to get delivered but customer care did keep us well informed after I commented on the delay. The desktop has arrived and we have been using it for several weeks. All is functioning well to the specs we asked (a fan was upgraded to fit the desktop we odered). Hopefully the desktop will prove to be a reliable work horse!
I have recently taken delivery of a high end processing PC from Punch Technology after problems with a major IT company I had used for over 25 years. This was the first time I had got involved with deciding what 'went into' the machine rather than just stating what I wanted it to do.The Punch Tech. on-line process is fairly easy and delivery fast. I made a couple of calls for 'teething troubles' - basically me not fully understanding the machine - and was helped quickly, politely and efficiently. Couldn't ask for more hence the 5* rating.
I recently ordered a fairly high-spec workstation from Punch. I’m based in Northern Ireland, and it turned out due to Brexit-related issues, the completed PC and the GPU had to be shipped separately, and I had to assemble them myself. None of that is Punch’s fault, but they were amazing at walking me through the install process over a video call and really helped make the process stress-free.PC now works great ;)
The ability to customise the PC on the website is very well thought out. Plenty of information about the components and advises of incompatibilities. The ordering and delivery process was as promised. It certainly offers much better value for money than the well known brand machines.A couple of small niggles. The expanded foam inside to prevent components moving in transit was hard to remove as it had snagged on the corners of the PSU and GPU. I had to cut it out very carefully. Also I'm hoping that the high pitched whine, presumably from the coils, wears off soon!
Had a couple of minor issues with my new PC, Punch were excellent is sorting things out, PC now running smoothly and delivered to spec. Thanks to Jonathan and Oliver at Punch in responding quickly and efficiently to the issues. Would highly recommend!
I have had a very satisfying sale with Punch Technology having ordered a custom pc build. The order came on time and they also changed one of the items I wanted to upgrade before sending it out. The staff on the phone answered quickly, knew what they were talking about, and were polite and friendly. My pc build is just what I wanted and I'm very pleased. I found the Punch website pc builder easy to use and well laid out with all the specs of the different items to choose from. I paid the extra for a faster build and it arrived before the deadline, I also had asked for some extra cables to be installed and they were all there as well as the extra bits and motherboard box along with the case manual,can't ask more than that, nice to have a dealing where it all went to plan. I'd say Punch exceded my epectations and would recommend anyone to use their services.
