I purchased an Asus RTX 4090 graphics card worth nearly £2,000 from Punch Technology via Amazon. When the item developed a fault within the first year, I rightly initiated a warranty return.I asked Punch what the fastest and safest way to return the item would be. They never mentioned they could provide a DPD insured return label (which their own RMA policy confirms is available). Left without proper guidance, I used Evri to return the parcel – the only option I was aware of at the time. That parcel was scanned into Evri’s system and then disappeared. It was never delivered.Punch Technology has since refused to take responsibility, despite:The product being under full warrantyTheir duty to offer a safe return routeTheir failure to advise me properly despite me askingThe loss occurring during an attempted return to themInstead of spending £15 to ensure a secure, trackable return, they left me exposed to a £2,000 loss—and then washed their hands of the matter.📣 Is this acceptable behaviour from a UK-based tech seller?I am now pursuing this case through the Small Claims Court and have filed a theft report with the Metropolitan Police.Let this be a warning to others:✅ Know your consumer rights❌ Don’t assume the seller will guide you responsibly❌ Don’t expect Punch Technology to support you when things go wrong⸻🔹 Customer Update – My Full Experience (Please Read Before You Trust This Warranty) 🔹As a customer, here are the facts: 1. I purchased a graphics card with a 3-year manufacturer warranty on Amazon. 2. I also purchased an additional 3-year extended warranty from ProtectYourBubble (via Amazon). 3. I have comprehensive home insurance that covers theft and damage of up to £80,000.Then: • The product developed a fault. • The seller (Punch Technology) asked me to return it under warranty. I specifically asked for guidance on the best return method, but instead of providing a DPD return label as advertised on their own website, they simply gave me an address and RMA ticket number. • I used Evri, the courier most accessible to me. • Evri’s driver stole the parcel. Evri accepted liability and offered me a £25 refund. • Amazon said, “Talk to the seller – we’re not responsible.” • Punch Technology said, “You didn’t ask clearly enough for our return option – we won’t take responsibility.” • ProtectYourBubble said, “Our insurance only starts AFTER the manufacturer warranty – and by the way, theft isn’t covered anyway.” • Tesco Insurance said, “Since the item wasn’t stolen from your home, you’re not covered.”So here I am – the customer who bought all the right warranties, followed all the right procedures, and is now being accused of insurance fraud for simply trying to understand who is actually responsible.Let this be a warning: • When things go wrong, these big names will quietly step away, find technicalities to avoid liability, and even insult you if you insist on your rights. • Behind these brand names are disconnected departments, outsourced support, and zero accountability. All I ask is this:One of you – Amazon, Evri, Punch Technology, ProtectYourBubble, or Tesco – take responsibility and stop passing the buck.Whether you help or not, this update will appear under every relevant review I’ve left, so others can learn from my experience.
So, for the longest time, I decided to finally invest into a pc, prebuilt of course being my first one, so I went to other sites to compare in comparison, eventually I stumbled on this website after a fair few days of researchingIn comparison they offered great specs at a reasonable price to. As I compared with the other sites, the budget I set aside, I wasn’t going to get a better deal for the specs I was after for the price I was payingI ordered standard delivery to so I had to wait a while, I saw a review on here that their pc arrived before their delivery said it was shipped I think? so just to be sure, I messaged them. The staff got back to me about my order, as I know it was going to be a while, (Oliver) was great, he reassured me about it all Few days after it arrived, the pc was packed very well all in all, it runs amazingly with my games and I can honestly say I’m in love with it, I’m highly satisfied with the purchase and I’ll definitely be coming back at somepointFor anyone looking to buy a prebuilt gaming pc. I highly recommend it, some people had an issue with them because of ebuyer? I’d come straight to the website itself if anything.
Brilliant company to deal with. Bought two full PC builds in 2023, and they still look after me over two years later, recently with bios updates. Highly rate them. And will buy from them in the future too. Shout out to Jonathan in support.
Absolutely amazing people! so helpful! these are people who really do go the extra mile. Pete was so incredibly helpful to me with a difficult ram issue i was having. he helped me through the whole process as id never done anything like this before and was very nervous about messing around inside my machine. Pete very kindly went the extra mile for me and stayed on the phone to actually guide me through the process. Thankyou so much again Pete!!!
I needed help with a driver that needed to be installed on the computer I bought from PUNCH TECHNOLOGY and the man that I got was so helpful and patient with me he spent about half an hour with me first class after sales will definitely recommend them.
Bought a PC from these guys about 3 months ago. Arrived with only half of the advertised RGB fans installed, so informed them, sent it back as requested. Fans were installed. There are 2 usb connections on top of the case, 1 usb 3, the other usb 2. Not tried them until today (silly me), only to find out that the usb 2 port dosent work. Obvs im not going to sent it all the way back to Liverpool for that. But it just goes to show that their build quality/quality control, is absolute pants. Oh, and if you are buying this from Amazon, like I did, be aware that the images on Amazon are not representative of the machine that you will get. I told them about this just after receiving mine, but they remain unchanged. Would I buy from Punch Technology again....NOOOOO!Puch technology say that they don't currently sell on Amazon, however, when I purchased the pc you did.So here's the purchase date order number and purchase price. Order Placed: 26 October 2024Amazon.co.uk order number: 203-2525120-8161138Order Total: £1,699.99So yes, I have got the correct supplier. I believe you were formerly Fierce pc. Btw. I've been reading a few other reviews, and there seems to be a bit of a theme developing. Punch technology have denied they don't CURRENTLY sell on Amazon, which may be true now, but certainly wasn't the case when I bought mine. And another review where they say they don't sell on ebuyer. I have ha this denial tactic before, when I bought an electrical appliance from a well known supplier. Who then said on this site, that they think I was another competitor tryingTo highjack their business So the trust pilot tem deleted my review I bet now I've proved it was from Punch Technology. I won't get a second reply. We shall see.
They state that custom PCs will be built within 7-10 days and delivered one day later. I've now been waiting 13 working days and there's been no update from them on the delay. I logged into my account to see I'm still no. 27 in the queue waiting for build. I checked 4 days ago and I was no. 31 in the queue. I'm clearly not getting this computer any time soon. I would go elsewhere if you want on time delivery.
