Prebooked for an event from 6pm to 2qm. Considering I had a one and a half hour journey I arrived 2 minutes early. Upon leaving at 10.30 they immediately took an extra £2.60 off my debit card as I had apparently overstayed. Thought it was some mistake at first as we had left early, but it was because we arrived early. You would think considering people travel from all over for events in Newcastle they would be more lienient.Second issue is the fact the QPark website states a 4 minute walk to the O2 city hall, it is actually a 15 minute walk which isn’t very good if you have any disabilities.Final issue was the lift been out of order. We ended up having to park on the 9th floor so quite a few flights of stairs to use, again not good if you have any disabilities or health conditions.I certainly won't use qparks again.
I would not recommend using Q Park services. On two separate occasions, I have had items including money stolen from my vehicle. I have always reported this to their customer services and have had very unhelpful responses. Their customer services do not care about customer feedback/ experiences and take no responsibility at all for their colleagues. I was appalled at their response to my experiences. Stay away from using Q Park as they are a very untrustworthy company.
This was my/our first experience of Q-Park and we were really impressed with the service we received in central Edinburgh. I have a large vehicle and parking was a bit awkward as the site was nearly full; David who works there guided me in safely and we chatted, he advised us to find an alternative parking site nearer to where we needed to be. He could not have been more helpful. Later in the day as we were leaving the second Q-Park site we saw David again, again amazingly pleasant and helpful and I told him so; he was proud of his work, happy to help customers and incredibly friendly and personable - you have an amazing member of staff working for you, so well done everyone. Additionally the parking was well organised and the facilities clean and well-cared for; full marks, and a big thank you David!
I have been using Q-park for a while, I was satisfied until yesterday. But unfortunately, the automatic barrier did not open yesterday, so I bought a ticket and entered, and when I was le aving, the barrier opened automatically, and I was automatically charged 31.50 pounds. Then I realized that when I logged in the previous day, my check-out was not processed into the system and the payment was taken as if I had been there since yesterday. I sent a complaint e-mail but still no sound. I trusted and entered my credit card information, but the Q-park company confiscated my money!Customer Id : 95f2b550-0600-422e-a9b5-eac5b2d6106d
Quality secure car parks and good customer service. Often use these and recent experiences in Manchester, Glasgow and Newcastle have been positive. Customer services quick to respond to any queries. When an overcharge was made in error they immediately responded to credit it back to my card. Recommended.
Decided to pre book parking due to train strikes increasing demand for parking. What a mistake!! Paid £54 in parking charges for central London. Due to traffic, arrived 40 mins after the start time, we were 9 minutes over the end time and charged an additional hours parking. Had we not pre-paid we would’ve paid £54 only, as we did not stay longer than the 12 hours. Won’t be using them again. Hoping the £9 is worth it, they’re losing a significant amount more in loss of future business.
Absolutely awful customer service……. DO NOT USE THEM OR THEIR APP!I recently fell foul of their “small print” that let’s face it does anyone have time to read it?!!! I had the app downloaded and set up for auto pay. I used this once and it was absolutely fine however some 7 months later I sell my car and get a new vehicle. The new owners 2 months after I’d sold it used a Q-Park in central Manchester. The app automatically charged me £18 for this stay. When I explained what had happened I was told it was my problem for not changing my car. Oh sorry, this was the last thing in my mind once I’d sold a car “oh I must update my Q-Park app”!!! So they got paid for this session twice, once by me and once by the new owner! Absolutely disgusting customer service, I even asked for a supervisor to contact me and got an even more ridiculous response.
