Used their pre book option for same day parking, but after booking realised that I wouldn't be able to access the car at midnight (my mistake). Tried to cancel the booking using the function on the email, which just took me to the booking on their website. Chat box function was useless and no option to cancel booking from there. Eventually got in contact with their 'customer service' to be told that same day pre bookings cannot be cancelled and that they are also non-refundable. This is in their t's and Cs, however it is nowhere on their website when you're booking it, which I believe is sneaky behaviour. They have kept the money, for a space I didn't even use. I have used this company before and have had no issues, however I will be looking elsewhere now for 24/7 parking.
I've used Q-Park's London Oxford Street branch twice now. It was recommended by the hospital that were performing a minor procedure on a family member. Booking was very easy on their website and I booked a 24 hr VIP slot as I thought it might be useful to have the extra room around the car after the procedure and didn't want to worry abut having to add time to the parking,. We arrived, took a ticket at the entrance and parked easily. We left around 9 hours later at 10:00pm without issue, the barrier and gates opened without a problem. We booked another slot a week later for a follow up to the procedure and I had trouble finding a space to park, so left and drove round and entered again, when I found space.About 30 mins later I received an email from Q-Park saying that as I was being charged an overrun fee of £372.00 as I'd entered the previous week and had just now left. I managed to get a phone number from the hospital and tried to call but no answer. Long story short. It will take a week to get my money back, they refuse to pay for the overdraft charge the caused and say they can't refund any faster as this is down to the card issuer, there are other ways of transferring money such as bank transfer or BACS but they don't seem willing to do this.I for one will never use them again as they seem untrustworthy and seem incapable of either maintaining or installing a reliable and fit for purpose ANPR system.
WARNING DANGER!!! TRAGIC PARKING LOT OPENING THE TRUNK YOU CAN DAMAGE IT BECAUSE OF THE METAL BEAM, EXIT IS TRAGIC THERE IS NO SPACE YOU CANNOT MAKE A CURVE MY LAWYER HAS ALREADY WRITTEN A LETTER TO YOU ABOUT DESTROYING THE CAR THE WHOLE SIDE IS SCRATCHED!!!! AVOID THIS PARKING LOT FAR AWAY 100 K
Double charged my credit card and refused to answer my calls and emails. From talking to the staff at the hotel where I was staying (nearby), it seems this is not the first time this has happened.Ended up having to get my credit card company involved, who reimbursed me.**** In addition, a few weeks later, my credit card company contacted me today (13/05/25) to let me know that there had been some suspicious activity on my account. Now, I’m not saying it’s related – however, throughout my entire life I’ve (luckily) never experienced any previous financial fraudulent attacks.
Q CAR PARK OXFORD STREET LONDONNever ever go to Oxford street Q car park! They are scamming and have a inside business running. My car was in there last night as we were out at a concert. Came back and the car was smashed - back window on drivers side. I had some things in the car totally hidden and the horrible scum bags took my bags with all of my belongings. The car park people dont care and thats because they are in on the game. Lost 1000s of pounds of items and damages are being reported. We saw Deliveroo drivers in there and there is no way a take away delivery would be going to a car park! DODGY and I will never go there again. We will be reporting to Trading Standards and the police are aware. The company took my money twice too and they do not help with anything.
Q parks are a rip off and their rewards scheme is worse. I got up to £32 in rewards then my account suddenly disappeared. I emailed them and no reply. I won’t be going anywhere near them again in the future. Should be up in court for ripping the public off!!
Shame shame shame Even with the valid parking license in the area, I forgot to put the clock on the guest parking which has a time limit that was more convenient for carrying heavy moving boxes to my new home. I did it at 23:30. 23:45 ticket was issued… I appealed - no sympathy, no explanation They are earning their bonuses on working class citizens for simply living their life. Citizens as a whole have to do something about private parking companiesThe situation is getting out of hand
No flexibility in arrival/departure times. Used pre-booking to park at Piccadilly Place, Manchester, staying in nearby hotel. Arrived 28 minutes early, but also left an hour early the following day. Was charged £3.50 extra for this "overstay" (that was actually 29 minutes understay). Might not seem a lot, but represents 30% on top of pre-booking cost for 22 hours' parking.
I would give 0 stars if I could. I booked parking in Aberdeen a week ahead of new years! We were due to park our car on the 31st December 2024 and collect it on the 1st January 2025, given that it was a pre booking and the barriers are number plate recognition, we didn’t see this being an issue and assumed given the website was accepting bookings, they were only taking pre bookings only. On Tuesday 31st December at 09:38, a couple hours before we were due to leave for our journey, Q Park decided to email me with the following “ Good morning, I’m reaching out on behalf of my local team. I understand you have a pre-booking today until tomorrow however our carpark closes today at 18:00 and doesn’t re-open until 07:00 on the 2nd of January. Would you still like to keep this booking or would you like us to cancel this and issue a full refund?”I think it’s absolutely disgraceful that Q Park didn’t pick up this error when my booking was first made instead of the day of our booking. The customer advisors were extremely unhelpful blaming the marketing team for not preventing bookings being made on this date. All they could offer me was a refund (which I had to wait days for on top of paying for another booking with a different firm) and a 20% discount. Even after the firm contacted me about this, they were still accepting bookings on their website, which I had to contact them and advise them off!
